Cool list, Majora! Streets of Rage 2 is probably my favorite beat ‘em up! I missed out on Vectorman growing up. I’ve also always to check out the NES Castlevania games since I never played them growing up either. Gears is probably one of my favorite franchises! Love the Jerry Seinfeld award idea.😂 Who are these people! Great stuff, Majora. 🤟🏽

Thanks Tiburon! SoR2 might be the best beat ‘em up I’ve ever played. The original NES Castlevania is worth checking out - the others, eh. Super and Bloodlines are more interesting to me. Great list, this makes me want to replay DQVII. One of my least favorite DQ games because of it's length however I still think it has one of the strongest writing in the entire series. Yeah VI is fine, it's a little too ambitious for what came at the end, characters aren't as memorable as other entries in the series, though Terry is awesome :) Good job on Castlevania and Mega man games, I beat those years ago but some of the best nes games :)

i know iv said it before but i will say it again great that you manage to beat a ton of megaman and castlevania games in 1 year. and yes blaster master zero is really good i enjoyed what i played of it. really like how you did the award section, very fun and creative

Thanks! I enjoyed giving out awards as well. Def was inspired by some of Legend of Leo’s recent vids. Not sure when and how I will go back to Mega Man or Castlevania; I think I’ve experienced my peak enjoyment for both series with the games I picked.

@@Majora_T i had a feeling but i love the format. yeah when it comes to megaman classic series 9 and 10 are pretty good and of course there is the many sub series but not sure wich one has your interest.

Surprised you haven't gone onto blaster master zero 2 or 3. Inticreates do great work. The megaman zero and zx games made me a fan of them. Also that retro bloodstained game. They are very good at retro action!

Nice to see lots of replays mixed in here! Have you ever done a Pokémon Nuzlocke? I started my first and only for Heart Gold last year, but lost the time to maintain it.

I’m resuming from the data breakdown portion now. Yeah, it did sound like a lot of replays, but that really is a large percentage! On average, how long do you figure the break is between first play and replay? (Maybe excluding the four titles that you replayed right away.) Nice awards section! You and Brian are inspiring me to get started on DQ this year, but we shall see. I think I’d like to beat a bunch of shorter games on NES and Game Boy, and then use my time for longer games on titles like Cyberpunk. I hope that you can play some other genres! Maybe there’s a fighting game with a good story or a puzzle game that will hook you.

Thanks! I hope to beat the same if not more this year! I forgot to add Zelda 1 which I beat a few days after our recording. I also played through Oracle of Ages at some point but never logged it. Mega Man 1 and 2 are pretty doable without it. There are some tricks especially for Mega Man 1. I could make a beginner's guide video showing some of the best exploits. Pokemon Nuzlocke I'm hit or miss on. The 6 Pokemon challenge is more interesting to me because it locks your team but you don't lose progress. I'm basically guaranteed to see credits whereas Nuzlocke can really lock progress. Games from series like Sonic, Pokemon, Mario, Banjo, Zelda I tend to replay every 3 - 10 years. There was one point in my life where playing Ocarina of Time was an annual tradition. I've put that to the side in favor of content but I'd like to do another replay sometime soon. Dragon Quest 1 - 3 are relatively short. It's probably best to start there and work your way up. They are the most rudimentary especially in terms of story but at least you can say you've played one after that. Thanks Legend of Leo! @@Majora_T Good stuff, man. I'm impressed that you can balance as much as you have going on in your life with the amount of gaming that you seem to do. I'm due for an OoT replay as well! I'll consider the 3DS remake this year in preparation for my next ranking. At least that way I'd get a new experience. Fighting some games, eh? You know, that makes me wonder about another couple of categories--most hardcore/hardest game, and most casual/easiest game. Was your most difficult game a Mega Man or a Castlevania?

All 6 NES Mega Man games and Castlevania on NES beat. That is no small feat and something you should be proud of. Yes I still believe you could definitely beat Castlevania III. Why would you not think you beat Sonic Adventure if you beat it with Sonic? I would count that if you got credits. Great job on beating Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels. Glad you enjoyed Pokemon Legends Archeus so much. Since that series is so special to you. I would definitely say The All-stars Mario games are remakes. I agree Dragon Quest VII is fantastic and a Gooreat time. I hope you do play the PlayStation version that Tylord sent you next time you want to replay it. It really is not as bad as people say.

You've prob beaten more games on Wii than me :P I have dabbled in Superstar Tennis, I just wasn't loving it on Wii. On another platform I'd probably be more into it.

​@@Majora_T Haha, idk. I've played a lot but beaten few. Because of the controls? After turning off motion controls I think they are the same on Wii and other platforms: move with the thing, use 2 buttons to perform all your shots. Not the most intuitive controls, but I did prefer them compared to using the motion ones. Still, I liked it for all the SEGA-related content.

@SilverMongooseVideos it’s more a wire issue. My Wii U is a frickin mess. Not a console or controllers I’m particularly excited to set up again.
