Woods has more mysteries than we think. Mason is alive no doubt. But I think woods had numbers put into his mind after captured by Kravchenko in 68 we just don't know it yet. Both Steiner and Dragovich were technically still alive. Masons just chillin with John Trent aka Reznov in Alaska.

COD BO Declassified is retconned, so some of the things are true like Menendez's dad dead body but in Cold War, he is in the Cartel MP map lying on the bed this time and not the way they did in the campaign of Declassified, and yeah, some things may not be true. They just took essential elements. So maybe Mason knew and was shocked that Woods was alive at that time period. I'm glad we as players have access to the terminal to know that Woods was alive and POW at Hanoi Hilton before BO2 came out. I want to add you a HUGE important clue about the video about Alex Mason status, the CIA Memo. Hudson said to the team to collect any evidence before going underground in the mission in a quote and also before the soldiers burn evidence papers in the room, Woods told you in a quote to grab any evidence in the room before they burn everything. So there is no optional thing to take or not the CIA Memo, it was an order, so it's canon. Kravchenko's word before shooting in Panama could potentially have distracted Woods since in the end, Woods touched Alex Mason's chest to make sure he shot him, maybe he knew he took a lousy shot at that time instead of the head, so it's a possibility. Nice video thank you for doing it, that make things clear to many people. I hope you mention the CIA Memo one in a future video if you want but u did a great effort :)

The reason why Mason reveals himself in the “Secret ending” is because Menendez is killed, causing him to be able to come out of hiding from CIA orders.

Fun fact:soldiers mostly shoot the heart instead of the head because the heart or lungs is a total kill, but in the head already had cases of the victim somehow surviving even if it hit the brain, so maybe Alex is one of this cases🤔

Call Of Duty always have a twist. ❤ so I do want to believe that Mason will be lurking somewhere. Actually, one of the calling cards in BO6 Beta says that Woods is out of duty, so why we see him in the trailer, that part when he wears the head band? And he wears only when he is ON DUTY, actually in field. So, there is much for us to uncover from the upcoming game.

We can also add the fact that at the end of BO1 when we go to the terminal we can see reports indicating that Mason is compromise and operation Charybde was set in order to eliminate him in the begining of the '70’s but was canceled later on but we didn’t had the reason of the cancel of the operation and in the BO series we had only two character who get compromise so far : Mason and Adler so maybe Mason faked his death to get under the radar of the CIA and finally take his retirement.

The whole problem with this video is this: If Woods wasn’t fooled when he shot Mason, wouldn’t he have told David that when he shot his father, he shot him in the leg and he would’ve made sure that he didn’t kill him? And plus he went up to Mason’s body and was surprised! All of Bo2, woods thought he killed him but not once did he mention that he didn’t try to kill him and why would Alex dip for 30 yrs and leave Woods to raise David? Alex’s absence makes no sense and If I was Woods, I would’ve spat in Alex’s face and told him to get out of my place for dipping on me for 30 yrs and on his son

Mason’s absence could simply be that he went into hiding to protect David and Woods. How would Menendez react if he found out Mason was still alive in the 90s? Raul could’ve went after David and Woods to force Mason out of hiding.

I'll do you one better. I NEVER saw specifics that Mason got shot *in the head*, THE ONLY CONDITION that he can die from. Literally, you can shoot him in the chest and dude'll survive 50 BMG to his heart but you do headshot he's dead. It was said Mason was shot. It was never said if Mason were shot in the head.
