Anker Vertical Mouse Review unboxing | Are ergonomic mice worth it?

So, do ergonomic mice work? Should you run out and get yourself an ergo mouse because it will cure all of your wrist related injuries. These are the same questions I was wondering so I wanted to give one a shot and see what exactly the hype was all about.
The first question that needs answered is, what is an ergonomic mouse? What is the difference between and ergo mouse and your everyday mouse. Well in a nutshell it’s a mouse that is designed to allow your hand and arm to maintained a more natural position while using it. As for how is it different than a normal mouse well that can differ a great deal with some looking like mobile joysticks and other looking like normal mice.
When I comes down to it the reason we are using ergo mice is to prevent pronation, pronation of the hand and wrist tightens the joint space of the two forearm bones, this position may lead users to move the mouse only with the wrist this movement can increase pressure on the carpal tunnel and in turn increase the chance of carpal tunnel disease.
With all this scare information in mind I set out to see if these things worked or If they felt so alien that I found the unusable. The mouse I bought was the amazon best seller the Anker 2.4GHz wireless vertical mouse, and although there were a lot of things I didn’t like about it the overall experience of using this mouse was positive and I would consider it to anyone interested in getting an ergonomic mouse.

After seeing your summary of why you aren't using the mouse anymore, as another project do you reckon you could make an angled wrist rest to put your preferred mouse at an angle that benefits your wrist while maintaining the accuracy of the sensor? Been using a mouse like that for a year or 2 now, much more comfortable, recently re-arranged my setup so I'm standing at my computer too, takes some getting used to (and a thick yoga mat for your bare feet) but definitly worth it

I got this mouse today but I got the wired one not the wireless one and I love this mouse for gaming its so good and it stops u getting carpel tunnel IMO

ill be honest, i bought this mouse because i thought it looked gimmicky however was i wrong, i used it for a week at work and i can really say i liked it and it really did feel better, i only went back to my old mouse because it has more buttons.

why do people always make a fuss about things not being rechargeable? like you ever heard of rechargeable AAA's or AA's? they're way better cause you don't have to wait for the freaking device to charge to keep using it. Just get two sets of aaa's or aa's and when the ones on your device run out, take em out, put them on the charge adapter/station and pop in the device the freshly charged ones you had charging on the charge station. Jeez, do y'all need to be told the abc of things everytime?

I like the grip of the mouse is it work with USB dongle or just can directly connect with bluetooth without any dongle.

I've been using my Anker vertical mouse for about 5 years now. I like it very much! I do wish I coul find one like it, but with silent buttons like the Jelly Comb vertical mouse (with a similar "sharkfin" shape to the Anker mouse instead of the wider grip required for the Jelly Comb).

I started using a vertical mouse when I needed one immediately because of a project that was due and my logitech MX Revolution died, hopped over to walmart and the cheapest thing they had was an ONN wireless vertical mouse, so I grabbed it thinking it was going to be a temporary thing. Nine months later I'm still using that cheap $13 mouse, and I can say with confidence, that unless I'm somehow forced to, I will never go back to a non-vertical mouse.

Video is very good. Not long ago, I tried to buy a vertical optical mouse of the renhotecic brand. After using it for a while, it felt ok to use. It is recommended that interested friends can try it out.

The second I put my hand on a normal mouse I get burning in my hand, wrist and forearm so I have just ordered the Anker, hopefully it'll help.

Try Logitech MX. Being between vertical and horizontal I found to be preferable. Plus all the buttons are programmable

Good mouse except that the rubber / plastic finish soon starts deteriorating and sticking to your hand; not very hygienic and not easy to clean properly.

@@rakutavedesign6978 I bought 3 of the same ANKER vertical mouse at the same time, like 6 years ago. I wear them out and they stop making the models i like. so i got 1 then tested it and got 2 more once i liked it. Anker is my favorite brand of wired vertical mouse.
