So democracy is a mix achaar thus the law passed through the representatives should cater to all those mixes? Sound about right but how will these parts of the mix agree upon a law? Also, how would a representative cater to the individual's liberty?

dear sir I am listening you since last month. I completed you series on philosophy then capital and many others. Sir you are genius. you are the one who is converting hard knowledge into softer one which is chewable and could be digested by commoners like me. now about this topic. you description for democracy is right, but I would like to disagree with your comments that personal freedom can not be achieved in capitalism. look at countries in the world and you will see many counties with capitalism which have excellent personal freedom but you might not be able to present a single example of any communist country where they have a fraction of personal freedom. When we follow some scholar why we start to feel that the person I am following is from out of the world and what ever he said is nothing but true. Why we can not choose the best of it and dispute the weaker claims May be because gradually we make every scholar a prophet and its teaching as sacred and Divine revelations thus his philosophy becomes religion. To some Marxism is religion. I hope this is not the case with you. ;)

But this system of checks and balances doesn't really work practically. Consider the current situation of Bangladesh or India. In the West it works because the majority of Westerners believe in democracy and human rights and stuff. Ultimately I don't think there truly is a significant difference between democracy and majority's authority. But I do agree that democracy is better than other forms of government.

Although Marx had supported freedom of speech but in a theoretical communist state it makes complete sense to censor anything that is not good for the state which is violation of freedom of speech. China is biggest example of it. Kindly discuss your views on this point in your next video and thank you for these informative videos.
@ajmaeenmahtab84566 жыл бұрын
Historically freedom of speech have been used demagogically most of the time ...... like Hitler, Mussolini....... and now you have phony pseudo intellectual liberal athiests trying to us that as well.
@usamayaseen37576 жыл бұрын
@@ajmaeenmahtab8456 i am sorry i didn't get your point. Are you trying to say that individual freedom (which also includes freedom of speech) is something unachievable and we should not strive for it?
@ajmaeenmahtab84566 жыл бұрын
@@usamayaseen3757 "Freedom of speech for whom and for what" was asked by Lenin when he critiqued liberal ideology. Liberals always complain against collectivization and always supports individual freedom. But this individual freedom is only for a minority which means those people who has capital, who has money. So liberalism along with those stupid human rights of private property, Homosexuality will never be achieved. And yes striving for those values are fruitless, for nothing.

You are a Socialist Dr Taimoor,i want to ask you a question. Socialism is the Philosophy of late 1800,s ,the time when Human labour was a vital part of industry and also the need of industrialists,so we can say Capitalism exploited those labours,Today our industry is shifting their burden to Robots,there are no prominent trade unions,No one is being exploited,Now how will your Socialism work????? Answer this question in Robots Context. Your Fan.
@aunthegeek57883 жыл бұрын
The burden put on robots doesn't minimize the exploitation of the working class but alienates the working class from labor and society as a whole. Automation is a tool of the ruling class. It is profitable for the Capitalist to have robots working in a slave-like settlement than treat laborers as humans and give them a livable wage, automation is killing jobs. We can see this today with companies like Amazon that treat their robots better than their workers.
