Bien plus que la voiture de la Gestapo, c’était avant tout la voiture de la Résistance (des FFI, Forces Françaises de l’Intérieur) et des gangsters d’après-guerre (le Gang des Tractions Avant). Ses qualités routières de l’époque lui permettaient des choses dont la plupart des autres voitures, même plus puissantes, ne pouvaient que rêver d’accomplir. Petite vidéo très sympa !

Glad to see a drive with this car. I've read about it and about other Citroën old models as well. It's a piece of history and looks in great shape. I saw such cars in old ww2 game Medal of Honor Allied Assault and I searched about it. I would love to see other Citroën clasic cars as well,2 CV,Dyane and BX,CX,GS.

Синхронизаторов нет. Переключаться с повышенной на понеженную надо с двойным выжимом через перегазовку! Не знает что это такое пришлось остановиться. 6:50 - 7:04. Спасибо за видео!👍

La Citroën Traction Avant est née en 1934. Elle était la meilleure routière de son temps. Pendant l'occupation de la France par les Nazis, elle fut logiquement utilisée par la Gestapo, mais aussi et heureusement par la Résistance, notamment les FFI (Forces Françaises de l'Intérieur). Je préfère dire que cette voiture fut celle des FFI. Bonne journée

J'ai discuté avec l'ancien propriétaire elle n'a jamais subi de retouche de carrosserie juste le châssis qui a été black sonné c'est tout 😁👍

It's unbelievable that they've been doing this car in late 50s. It looks like 30s... I know it handles well and has hydro suspension but still - looks old even compared to the first post-war Polish car Warszawa M20.

It was from the 30s, but a little something happened calls ww2 that meant Citroën didn't have anything ready for that segment... The only big work they had made before the war was the 2cv, and given that everybody was completely broke in 1945, they've put all their effort in the 2cv, and continued to build the Traction until the replacement was ready: the Citroen DS, wich, for once, look VERY futuristic.

Effectivement Vince comme vous avez pu le constater, ça ne se conduit pas comme une voiture d'aujourd'hui. Il faut de temps en temps pratiquer un double débrayage et accompagner gentiment le levier de vitesse sur les bons rapports pour éviter les craquements (car le premier rapport n'est pas synchronisé et commande de boîte beaucoup moins précis). Sinon c'est une expérience tout à fait unique de conduire cette voiture d'autant plus qu'elle est légendaire par rapport à son histoire et de son utilisation lors de la seconde guerre mondiale et notamment la voiture officielle de la Géstapo 😁👍

you should never shift down to first while you are driving, you will break your gearbox, first gear when the vehicle stops completely, you stop in second cdlm

No one knows what double declutching is today..I learnt to drive in a Fiat 500 so got pretty good at it....I think most people driving old cars today just change the gears very slowly to avoid crunching.

if you have to pause before putting it from 1st gear to 2nd, it means that you need to repair the gearbox as 2nd gear is not sitting correctly on the upper shaft. If this is not repaired, the results can be unpleasant. Ask me how I know.

Ta dificil trocar as marchas 😂😂😂😂 a 1° não é sincronizada e o câmbio está com muito barulho nas engrenagens coloque um óleo com grafite ai vai reduzir o ruido no câmbio... É sinal que enferrujou as engrenagens...

Non en france ,personnes appellent la citroên traction avant "la voiture de la Gestapo ",mais Plutôt la voiture de "la résistance",c'est comme cela qu'elle est restée dans la mémoire collective et ceux malgré qu'elle fut utiliser par la Gestapo allemande et française ,pour ses grandes qualités de routière. Années de production 1934-1957. Mais ce n'est pas la bonne année du véhicule ,lorsqu'il fait référence à la gestapo.
