In some psychology circles, it can be said that people who've been traumatised in some way may seek to re-experience the worst thing they survived to gain some control over the situation. I'd imagine there's an observable difference between the language and attitudes of brave young men before seeing a combat tour and veterans who've seen active duty for whom the excitement may be more prospect of flexing a part of their brain that most people haven't experienced using

And Russia issuing them means they ar funding illegal group by law because they aren’t recognized by Russia. Here's how I see it : 1. Ukrainians kick out their russian puppet of a president who is putin's way of maintaining influence over Ukraine 2. Ukrainians are branded as Nazi fascists because of a minority of protesters. 3. Ukrainians instate new leader and government that is suppose to be loyal to the people of Ukraine and not Putin. 4. Ukraine is becoming more and more independent , Putin needs to maintain his influence over Ukraine. 5. Putin annexes Crimea and Captures strategically important ports etc... To justify this he says he liberated Crimea with an illegal and illegitimate referendum and calls it liberation (he took the western approach , occupy someone else's land for your interests and call it liberation , and the thing is, a ton of russians actually believe it , hahahahaha) 6. Putin starts a proxy war in Ukraine by backing up a separatist insurgent movement who created their own breakaway communist "people's republics" and sends them weapons equipment and troops. All in the name of what you wonder ? "Freedom and democracy" , HAHAHAHAHAHA , yeah start a war in another country and divide it's people and cause thousands of deaths and call it freedom and democracy , where have I heard that before..... what makes it more ironic is the fact they are *communist* breakaway republics. 7. Putin keeps his influence over Ukraine and keeps Ukraine from joining NATO (you can't join NATO if you're at war). Mission accomplished for Putin. But you know what pisses me off ? I'm a military enthusiast and I like military stuff and respect soldiers for their service despite the politicians and leaders who rule them. But Russian service members are being sent there secretly only to die and get buried in secret and treated like they never existed , treated like they are disposable garbage. It pisses me off. And these politicians and mainstream media in Russia have the guts to fucking lie about it. And Russians are blindly believing them and being mislead by them and blame the Ukrainians for the whole problem. I wish they would wake up to the lies of their oh-so-beloved Putin.

Have you ever been in combat? Have you ever been in a situation where you can hear thumping and whizzing noises, knowing that each chunk of dirt flying up was a potential death sentence for you or a comrade? War is the most confusing and terrifying thing you can experience and quite frankly you don’t seem like you know the basics. In modern war you very rarely see who is shooting at you, because as soon as you do they’ll be dead within seconds. Suppressive fire is how modern battles are won, by keeping the enemies head down. They don’t know what they’re shooting at. Only that it’s shooting them.

@@synovialpig9983 Can confirm. My brother went to Afghanistan. The max he can see by bare eyes (iron sigths no optics) was described as "tiny little black dots". And then the whizzing noises. Sometimes those "dots" produces flashes of ligth, indicated they were shooting with optics and Dragunovs. Those were the dagerous ones and often they call air support.
