Second amendment matters. Always will. Everyone benefits from it, us minorities REALLY benefit from it. Those who don’t learn history are doomed to repeat it.

The memory of the brave Javid named Javad Safari Moghadam, a Marine Ranger who resisted in a trench in front of the Iraqi army for 4 days, and finally on October 25, the Iraqis were forced to directly target this brave man's trench with tank shells. It is worth noting that he is remembered as the wonder of the Rangers and the first martyr of the Rangers in the Khorramshahr resistance

I feel so bad realizing I was romanticizing war machines my whole life. Guys, I was a dumb idiot. They are not meant for anything except mass killing and destruction. I hate war and such pieces of engineering with my whole heart.

My Grandfather told me a story of when he was drafted in the 50's. He was in the army, finished boot camp, and was going to be a paratrooper when an officer asked for volunteers in his company, he couldn't clarify what you were volunteering for, except for it would be a change in job, raise in pay, and stationed in the US instead of being shipped to Korea, (This was after the Armistice, however things were still tense then). My Grandfather volunteered and became an MP, Stationed in Nevada. He told me stories of how he witnessed the bombs go off in his foxhole, as it exploded, there was a bright light and as the shock wave came, the walls of dirt surrounding him wobbled to and from like waves. He was ordered to march through the dust cloud afterwards and then was hosed down after hike. He lived to be in his 90s fortunately with no harm from these events.

Check out the many vids with Tullio Moneta. He was in the thick of it with Hoare and others. Also read ‘Mad Dog Killers’ by Ivan Smith. A brutally honest account of what went on.

On October 25, 1983, citing Scoon's request[23], the USA launched an invasion (Operation Urgent Fury) with the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States, as a result of which the NJM government was overthrown. The legitimacy of the intervention under international law was highly controversial; The operation was criticized, among others, by US allies Great Britain and Canada as well as by the UN General Assembly. The operation was initially justified with the aim of guaranteeing the safety of US citizens in Grenada. It is more likely that the US government feared that Grenada would have strong ties to Cuba and Nicaragua. After some of Coard's supporters were arrested and later sentenced to long prison terms, elections were held in 1984, which have taken place regularly since then and are considered free.
