I just bought a 2022 Fat Bob (new) that had been sitting on the local H-D showroom floor for over a year and everyone else passed on it but I fell in love with it the first time I saw it and it is without a doubt the funnest bike I’ve ever owned and I’ve been riding for 43 years. Great video! I agree with your opinion!

I have a Sportster S. This is the bike (fat bob) I will upgrade to in the next 2 years. I love the looks
@MakaJerycho Жыл бұрын
The S is an absolute weapon. So if you’re going for a Fatbob make sure you buy one that’s been staged one at least for the performance. But they defo both handle very similar. The Fatbob is just that bit larger and comfier :) If you can get a Fatbob with a torque cam upgrade….you’ll be laughing constantly
@Beastius24 Жыл бұрын
@MakaJerycho cheers bro. I mainly want to upgrade because my little one wants to ride with me too. For that the Fat Bob is better. That said, I will buy one that is stage 1 and will do stage 2 later myself. The Fat Bob gave me a sense of calm, power and content that no other bike had done previously. I enjoyed riding it even in traffic. I used to ride way sportier bikes but after my Sportster S gateway drug, I could test ride / borrow a Fat Bob for 2hrs whilst they were working on my bike....and it finally gave me that cruiser feeling that you just feel happy, free and content irrespective of the speed or cornering. I love it. Oh and looks wise I absolutely love the black FBs with a Memphis Shades road warrior fairing. I didn't feel the need for speed. And that was with a stock pipe!
@MakaJerycho Жыл бұрын
@@Beastius24 tbh they’re quite rapid for a cruiser :)

@MakaJerycho true. But I was riding a gsxr750 and a kawasaki z1000sx before, so compared to that the Fat Bob is relaxed. :)

Fat Bob was always gonna be my choice, I ended up picking one up after selling my dyna just before xmas. Full stage 2 and touring spec with the memphis fairing and handguards etc swapped out the tyres for avons and it I honestly cant see myself owning any other bike thats currently made.

I just rode one today. That 114 has instant torque and is so much better than my old 08 model with the 96 engine. What I don't like is they put in the great engine, larger/more power, then took 1.5 gallons out of the fuel tank. The Breakout is the same way. The small tank will probably stop me from getting one and I'll either have to get an older one or a Fat Boy now.

I've got the 2018 fatbob with the stage 3 taking it to 117Ci, i love it, done 22,000 miles on it..... however, almost 2 months ago while setting off from a roundabout the belt snapped as i went into 2nd gear, turns out that both the front and rear pullys also needed replacing😡, (i had new tyres put on only a week before) so i got straight onto harley support UK, now almost 2 months later and i still don't have the bike, Manchester H-D who have the bike said harley UK were checking if i had extended warranty, so i may be in luck and get it covered, there's no way that belt should have snapped or that the pullys needed replacing, , he did say they are waiting for the compensator bolt, does this mean the compensator also fell to pieces or does that have to be renewed when they fit the new pullys, any ideas.

Did the belt go after 22000 miles Or after the conversion?

Had the 2014 fatbob from new and swapped it for a later for a 16 plate cbr1000rr and regretted my decision.....got shut of that (broken back didn't like the position) for a xjr1300 18 Plate (15 model) then this year traded that for a 22 streetbob and am well happy with it, but if i can get a second bike later on I'm going for a 14 plate fatbob again, yep don't like the square headlight on the new ones
