I have watched several of these since I want a good idea of how to do this before I start. You have the yarn lying up and down as you weave the threads together. That somehow clicks in my head better than one on top of each other. Being left handed, I think this will help. Thanks for that!

What is the purpose of the safety pins? I know you mark off every 10 loops but for what? I feel like I’m missing something

So sometimes when you want a really big blanket, you can have up to 70 loops across the bottom! So the safety pins is just to make sure you have all 70 loops accounted for :p no need for them really!
