As a pensioner from the UK, I'm about as far from your target demographic as it's possible to be! But I've always been interested in PC games, since Doom (never had a console), and I enjoy seeing how things work under the hood. Back in the day, I'd ask IT friends; how do the sprites get smaller as they move away?!, How do the voices get louder when they get near?! It was like magic then, and it still is! Thanks for your nice clear explanations - it all goes to increase my respect for devs, especially indie folk who don't just have great imaginations, but have to be highly skilled in so many different areas. So creative!

8:12 Why do you have pixelated rendering? and this might be a stupid question.. but why does your golden texture look better than mine? xD like it has the glind and when i put on a new color it looks so dead and blank..

Is there a way to save the texture on it?

Unwrap the 3D model and then bake the textures. These two are a bit complicated steps for beginner, you might have to look for some tutorials!

You need to be using version 4 or above of Blender to see that option. The Principled BSDF in version 4 has expanding subsections and you need to click the 'Subsurface' entry to see the Weight setting.
