Thank You so much for sharing how to do a tarot bag - really inspiring! Want to go out and get some nice fabric and start making, doesn't seem to take too much time, if my machine will work, or, I used to make my own by hand a long time ago, but not as well done as yours. Cheers!

Thank you so much for dropping sewing tips throughout your lesson. I’m teaching myself how to use a sewing machine, and didn’t know about the proper placement of pins. Your bag is one of the first projects I’m going to attempt! Happy New Year!!!

Just finished one and it turned out so cute! Your measurements are right on the deck fit perfect. I used a top fabric with little hedgehogs on it and the lining fabric had green leaves. Thanks again.

I sat transfixed watching this, you are so clever and made it look so easy! If we lived in the same country I'd be buying these off you for sure. Handy to pop a deck into to pop in your bag as you head out x

Awww thank you...! I am going to start making sets of 3 bags for 50 USD including international shipping, that way shipping is affordable for those who want to buy them... but it means buyng 3 bags at once... Will give it a go anyway... as an adition to my custom embroidered bags! x

USD nor NZD? That's about £40 I think in sterling, which isn't bad at all if includes postage, so count me in 😉

Thanks so much for sharing! I am a beginner and have a question about sewing the opening closed. You mention it at about at the 11:48 mark. You are now sewing it closed on the right sides, correct? So basically a top stitch? Thanks!
@RaggedPoet6 жыл бұрын
Absolutely correct Gina...when I sew it closed I do it on a part of the bag that will become an inside seam, I fold the opening fabric in, iron it and then top stitch as close to the edge as I can, and you can barely notice it, even were it not hidden within a seam!
@GinaFeletar6 жыл бұрын
Ahhh yes, I see now, got it! Thanks so much!

This was excellent - thank you :D I loved the last tip to make it flat on the bottom! Love your fabric choices - are those little moons? ♥
@RaggedPoet7 жыл бұрын
Thank you Carol... the fat bottom works really well on drawstring bags too! Yes they are tiny wee moons :)
