Thank you, Dawn! I would love to do a bag giveaway, but I have to make sure it would be something I would be nice quality and without dodgy stitching 🧵😆.

Beautiful sewing Bonnie - The gorgeous 'simplicity' fabric with the ladies who appeared on the simplicity pattern packets bring back memories of my mother & grandmother and their love of sewing! Bless you - this was lovely to see all your wonderful creations xx

Love love love your craft/reading room. Nice to have a room just for you and your interests. Loving what you are making, and the fabrics. The bags are fabulous - definitely Peggy Bags. I would love a room like Lisa Papez where she has a different fabric for each tarot deck and has them hanging on the wall for easy access. Of course she is lucky to have Peggy. My bags need to fit in my suitcase so they are like felt purses (like Kelly Bear made for Simon of the Hermits Cave for his Tarot of the Magical Forest ) and I buy fancy hair ties/bands to hold them close. I try to match colours to my tarot deck so I can easily find the deck I want. Another great video.💜💜💜

Those are all so cute! Loving the fashion spread cloth and all the bags. 😍😍😍 And I'm so jealous of your machine! Mine is a Juki for beginners. My tarot bags are crocheted ones. I'm much more confident with crochet. 😄 And yes yes yes, for the spread and bag giveaway, too! 💖

Oh, I wish I could crochet and knit! I’ve purchased some needles and yarn, but I’m still trying to progress with my sewing! I’ve also picked up mixed media. Sigh...so many crafts, so little time...

These are adorable! I love the rope drawstrings. You should definitely start selling these. I would buy them and I’m sure many others would too. Then you can buy more decks. 😉

Thank you! My husband would definitely like me to find a way to fund deck purchases 😆! The pressure of making perfect bags to sell would be too much for me and probably take away the joy of sewing. When I have a batch of extras, I will definitely give them away here!

I've done a bit of tarot sewing lately, I've made 4 spread cloths and a couple of snap closure pouches for decks that don't have boxes. I just kind of winged it without a pattern! I found making them from felt was super fast and I used the fancy stitches around the edges in a contrasting thread 👍✨👌I prefer my decks to stay just in their boxes if they have nice ones so I'm going to make some more spread cloths next! I'd love to see more videos with a sewing theme as I sometimes make clothes too 😍😁
@oldsoulmermaid15433 жыл бұрын
I know I have a pattern for a snap closure pouch somewhere...I put it aside and now can’t find it 😆! I’m not brave enough...or talented enough...to wing it! I will definitely make some crafty videos in the future!

Bonnie, what a wonderful skill to have. Your double sided cloths are lovely and so are your Tarot bags. I love the way you align your colors. I wonder iwhat goddesses are associated with weaving /sewing. I know Athena is but I'm sure there are others, too. 🌻💙

Um, heck yeah we'd be interested in one of your bags/cloths as a giveaway! 🤣I'll have to check out Whitney Sews. I'm such a novice when it comes to sewing but would like to get better. Funny enough, the act of sewing isn't enjoyable for me--it's having a functional finished product that's not ugly that makes it worth my effort, LOL. You are so talented, Bonnie!

Thank you, Julie! You know, I picked up sewing a few years ago when my mother was diagnosed with terminal Cancer and it was my way to cope. I immersed myself in KZbin videos and local classes to learn the basics of sewing clothes. I’m not a natural. The process has been a very one step forward, three steps back 😆. I’m a very visual learner and I don’t do well with certain written directions. But...I do enjoy most aspects of the process. There is nothing quite like the feeling you get when you are stopped by a youngster and they ask you where you got your dress!!! Well, those were back in the days when I got dressed and had somewhere to go 😉

Wow, if I had such skills, I would have a million tarot bags and cloths... I mean, I cannot tell which one is my favorite, everything is beautiful, I love the ones are not all matchy! The fabric with tarot cards, the one with hands and the one withnpentagrams are amazing... that groovy purple cloth is also gorgeous. And what a stupid question, Bonnie... *of course we want a tarot bag or cloth in a giveaway* just sayin'..... 🤣😍

Sewing is not easy for me. It was something I started to learn after my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer about 5 years ago. It was a way to cope. I don’t have that wonderful mathematical brain that a lot of talented sewers have. And...I’m a totally visual learner. I do better in a class with someone showing me how to do something than I do reading sewing directions. I will probably never make a couture garment, but each one I complete is a victory! I will definitely make some bags and cloths to give away!

Thank you so much, Elizabeth! I wouldn’t feel right selling them, but Once I’ve amassed enough of them, I’m ok with giving them away! I’m an empty nester, so having a sewing room is a consolation prize for not having my kiddos living at home anymore.

The bags are similar to yours that I sell, but I cut the corners for mine cause I like how they look. Ps, I LOVE how your first bag looks. Looks a lot better where I started my business last year LOL! Love your fabric choices! Edit: I do make tarot bags, and my best sellers of Boxed bottom bags. I have more people looking at them for D&D dice (which is nice too!) and others for a candy bag. I started my business making tarot wraps by needing my own wrap. Was super fun! I would love to send you some of my products!

The cloths shown are 27 x27 inches. I’ve made larger and smaller ones, but I really like this size. I used a spread cloth that I got as a reward from the Keymaster Tarot Kickstarter campaign as a template!
