@@deeplaysgaming4754 I bet it could last a long time! There’s no reason why it shouldn’t, aluminum is a good material… The only possibly weak part is the handle, so maybe it’s better making it as a tumbler or handleless mug?

The acid in beverages reacts with aluminum, causing aluminum ions to enter the bloodstream and replace minerals needed for brain function such as copper and silicon. Then the barrack of these minerals because they are replaced with Alu ions cause memory loss, brain dementia and Aitchajmer. And in autism children. Regards.

Someone's probably already told you this? Those can't be sold for money in America. Because of the copyright on the logo you cannot use their logo and sell their product. If you do this in America they will shut you down so fast you won't even realize what happened. It's called copyright infringement. If you do not believe me call Coke or Pepsi they will explain it to you.

would i need to label these as hand wash only? and if they were dropped do you know how that might affect the sturdiness of the plaster inside? does it break it down and cause the sides to become weaker? could i use cement in between the two layers? thank you, i think this is really cool!

Not if he planned and made this into his job. But there are also many hobbies that take time. When I worked, I wasted 3-4 hours a night watching tv or on the computer (watching not doing) except for the nights I volunteered even as a single mom.

Damn, this is awesome... ❤. But I would still be tempted to try and do it with some more colorful cans, like those Monster energy drink special editions, but they are 500 ml. I just hope that one of those other two types of cans (250 ml or 330 ml) will perfectly fit inside... 😁

Nice! Just thinking about the part where you put the soda can bottom on the bottom of a spray paint can. This could be a good thing to cover those pesky steel can bottoms that always make rust rings!

I used to make stash cans out of virtually any can and was doing it 25 years before you could buy them in a shop. I've stopped now due to them being widely known. However the manufacturered ones don't get the filled wieghts right so you can always tell.

I think you are filling the insides with some sort of ceramic or plaster? I would fill them instead with an insulating foam. This way the mugs would be natuarally insulated and contents would remain cold or hot longer I think? Insulated mugs would also fetch a higher price in case someone was actually thinking of selling them.

Hints: Sand down all of the cut edges. Also, use black sandpaper. This sandpaper is made to sand metal. When you cut your hands, etc, you will thank me later. 🤣🤣 Awesome ideas!!!

How on earth did you do this without denting the hell out of the cans? Pretty cool way to reuse soda cans!! I live in Maine so we get money for taking our empty bottles and cans to the redemption center so I don't often see projects done with them here in my area.
