My pleasure! Could you share what your Arduino Code looks like currently? (Email CaptainBobSim@gmail.com) If your arduino code supports reading values from the sim than it totally should be able to be done in Arduino IDE.

I’ve made one very much like this which uses servos and has no limit switches. Not mounted or wired yet. Any advantage of your version with steppers vs servos? Thanks.
@CaptainBobSim
@CaptainBobSim Жыл бұрын
In my experience the steppers are more precise, quieter and less jittery. Servos have an advantage because they have a built in potentiometer so you don't have any zeroing issues. You're always welcome to try both out and see which one you like better!

It's a bit comical, If I turn my desk to the left I have my full scale flight simulator, and if I turn to the right I have a knock off PS3 controller and for single component testing 100% of the time I'll go to the controller😂 It's easier to test a single function with my PS3 controller than to fit my simulator in front of the desk :)

@@CaptainBobSim Alright, alright! "And if you turn your desk backward" you will see/nastly hit on a nasty green vegetable wall/a vegetable green wall, with a big, wide and high wooden door of the transparentual glass segments. Behind the "glass" door, there are a massive corner stairs leading upstairs, lol. On the stairs there are slepping even dogo........ "green vegetable wall" your words, not mine! :):):):) You cant turn your desk forward, lol, you would land/end in the actual simulator running on the monitor... There are only two more directions, turning up or turning down... The desk can flip over yourself........ Ohh, you are stuck and trapped! :):) Laminal spaces, laminal vibes........

@@CaptainBobSim Yea, yea, its understandable to save the whole simulator from worning out... Its like accepting 10 position grid penalty for changing wornout component in Parc Per Ferme after messed up qualification, than do not finish beautifully ride out race because of Critical Mechanical Failure caused by the not changed wornout component.... :):)

Heyy! So I was trying to download the files from your website but I keep having failed downloads and/or 500 errors. It may be because I live in another continent so the servers might not be suitable for my region. It'd be nice if you could feed the download from Google Drive or some other large website so I'd be able to build some instruments too. Right now I'm aiming at the attitude indicator (bought the steppers already) but I plan on building others in the future
