Make Beats: Even on Android?? Roland Zenbeats Unlocked

ANDROID USERS AND BEATMAKERS:
So you want to make beats on your Android phone or tablet?
In this video I go over why I have been using the new Roland Zenbeats app. I finally got the Zenbeats Ultimate and unlocked EVERYTHING. This way I can make beats on all of my devices across every platform. Though I primarily use Zenbeats for iOS it's been extremely convenient for me to be able to pick up wherever I left off from Mac OS to even having the option to use Windows PC or even my Android tablet to create.
I'll be rolling out some tutorials on how I make beats and anyone on any device can follow along and learn.

Just got it. But I still find myself trying to learn the program more than playing music. And I have been playing for a while. So I am looking forward to mastering it bc it has everything. All the bells and whistles and then some. So I'm committed to learn and master it.

Does it have a sampler included or can you only work with the provided sounds? I would like to load (or even record) and chop some samples on the fly.

Definitely would love tutorials on this platform. Not sold on Cubasis 3 and not sure what’s going on with BM3 with the head guy jumping ship. Don’t want to get left behind the 🌊

Yes please tutor me. 😳I'm on Android Alcatel Joy tab I'm using the free version right now but I'm seriously considering buying the full ultimate package.. I'm an old-school programmer I have an ASR 10 that I would like to run with this in Ableton Live. I was wondering cuz you suggest a controller that would work good with the Alcatel Joy Tab and my zen Beats ? Okay thanks for your help. PS I'm into afro house deep house techno and trap trap.

Thank you, I think Zenbeat is so powerful and easy to use, but I have some question about my violin recording seems out of sync I am using Windows PC and Behringer UMC22 usb audio interface.

Hi there, just want to ask what android device you are using for zenbeats and if you by any chance have any deeper inlook into whole problematics. I am looking for setup, where i could connect zenbeats on droid with midi sync with another devices through usb midi to midi adapter and output audio from tablet to generic dual mono jacks 6,3 via some reductions. Unfortunately on current market it's difficult (i am also on tight budget), because devices have only one usb-c port, or not enough cpu performance (not sure how much you actually need, but i have experienced stutter on newest 2022 version of zenbeats just today on my phone with helio g90T, so probably at least above that). Considering just one usb-c port you have to do some serious reductions into reduction into port replicator magic (power+midi in/out+audio out). so i am looking for some way how to make this setup possible. i also heard about bluetooth midi, which could help, but not sure how reliably that works. any help with this welcomed. thanks

i purchased the $14.99 unlock, but i have only a 6.5in phone. kinda hard to use on a small device. definitely want a big tablet with better processor. great app. it's like ableton but for fifteen bucks a great deal. i can't afford iOS devices. also, the $15 FL studio is real nice and works better on my phone, all the add ons only total to around $15...once i get a proper tablet with processor power, i'll probably fork out the $150 for the ultimate unlock for zenbeats. but even the FREE version of zenbeats is amazing. it has the ableton 'session view' and the ability to record to the timeline. i spent around $50 to get my favorite presets and loops from the roland store.

This is exactly what I need to do- unlock the Ultimate and Windows Versions of Roland Zenbeats App. Only things I need are those. After that, I can unlock those and get to work on my beats on those. As for me, I was the one who made a suggestion to Stagelight on having drums consisting of 707's, 808's and 909's, hence why Roland Zenbeats was born. Much love, y'all. Peace!

Super dope! Glad you were vocal about the things you wanted from this and I'm glad Roland has stepped up and delivered. This is definitely a good option for both iOS and Android users. Having the option to be on Windows and Mac will bring it to life even more for ALOT of people.

@@BrandonRico I had to because when I noticed certain problems with Stagelight, I noticed that certain drums were clipping in the previous bundle I bought had a lot of clipping on certain drums, so I had to layer and tweak them to make them match the whole vibe of the instrumental. Though the audio would skip and crackle, at least I got certain stuff done.

So far so good for me. I haven't experienced any skip, crackles, or crashes with Zenbeats.

On my chromebook it´s a disaster to run this program. After I added some tracks it begins to stutter or just won´t play sounds anymore, can´t imagine it will be any better on my android phone.

@@BrandonRico. On Windows 10 the Korg Gadget VSTs don't work. I wrote to Zendesk about this and they said were working to make Zenbeats compatible with the Korg Gadget VSTs. On the iPad, the only Korg app which has AUv3 is Electribe Wave so it can be loaded in an instrument track in Zenbeats. Electribe Wave appears as Warszawa in Gadget. Other that that, how can Gadget be used inside Zenbeats?

I remember replying to this but I read that too fast and didn't pay attention to the video I was replying to 😩😩 I've only used Gadget as a standalone and inside BeatMaker 3. I thought that's what you were asking. I should have payed attention instead of replying from the KZbin studio app. But I'll look into Korg Gadget on Zenbeats and if I figure it out I'll let you know ASAP 🙏🏾

If I gotta give them a chance again I'm only spending $50 just so that I can use vsts cause their built in instruments kinda suck ,I'm not paying $150 for sample verse hell no . edit I have experience dealing with the developers when they was stage light ,they ditched it and before that they locked out the feature for us to access the sounds we paid for ,I bought the Timbaland bundle and a few presets ,so in short I feel scamed but I'm a forgiving dude I might as well as might not buy it again ,I dunno .

Im a big android user but android just pure shit when it comes to music making or even creating creative content. The iPad has just so much better developer support and the quality of the apps are better in general.

Lol I agree. Someone was just saying this on Twitter too. I definitely believe that iOS is the better tool for more serious CREATORS. However this is a definite option for users who haven't crossed over yet
