I love this idea, so thank you. It doesn’t hurt that my husband had asked for my hand in marriage on Valentines Day, 18 years ago. He didn’t make this cute box, but he did give me an engagement ring in the shape of a ❤️ heart. I still wear it with my wedding band, and we’ve been married 17 years as of December 28th. He’s still the love of my life, and the most awesome man I know. Never worry about a little bit of background noise, we could barely hear it on our side. I don’t know where you live, Sherry, but I’m thinking somewhere in our Eastern time zone. If you’re cold, put your heater on. My craft room is in our garage for now, and it’s been hitting minus forty degrees F this past week or so. I have our wood stove who I call our Dragon🐉, she’s a Beast! She’s been so hungry this cold winter and I’ve constantly been feeding her. She does our family home good. Well, I know I must be a new crafter because I’ve been cleaning my work space when I’m done every evening. I even wipe off my work mat. I’m almost done labeling and compartmentalizing all of my fun stuff. I don’t know how long it will last being clean and organized, but it’s been a good start. It’s funny, but I love looking at all of my craft books and such all nice and neat and in their plastic containers to keep the dust off. It’s a good feeling. My craft area looks nothing like those on other videos, but it’s all mine, and I’m happy. I love this new world of crafting and figuring out how to make things work with what I have. I think this is going to be an amazing journey, and I’m so happy to be with you all for the ride. Happy crafting, good people and stay smiling 😊

Love your creativity! I store my scraps with the unused parts of the paper pad, by color or occasion, in large ziploc bags. If no paper pad is left, then just in the bag. Really small pieces, 1 inch wide or less in width, are stored in a small plastic container, with dividers, that sits on my desk for easy embellishment making. Those scraps are in the container by width.

Cute box design. For scraps from paper pads I store with the paper pad--preferably the pad and scraps in a plastic bag. For random scraps I store in a plastic drawer unit by colors. For my solid cardstock I have a drawer unit again organized by color. First I cut any bigger pieces into either card bases or layers for cards. I also try to cut scraps into straight shapes.

Really clever. I don't know how you come up with all these great ideas. I am lucky enough to have an office cabinet that my company was getting rid of. It has about 30 9 x 12 drawers. I sort my scraps by color and labelled the drawer. I also use it for embellishments, pom poms, resin pieces crepe paper rosettes. You name it, I've created a category. My most common color scraps like pink and green, I use an iris container (12x12) from Michaels. You are an amazing posh lady!! Hugs Sue

They did away with giving samples out and my sweet friend asked her boss if I could have it for card making supplies. I retired 2 years ago and now go in part time to help out in another department. Very cute! Love them! I have a "thing" for boxes for some reason.. any new kind of box I love to make! What brand is that darling sticker pad? I would love to get one. I store my paper scraps 3 ways. All the small strips of whites and creams I put in a little wall pocket by my craft area, so I can grab one anytime to stamp a sentiment on. The bigger whites and creams go in a drawer close by. Scraps from paper pads, I keep right in the front of the paper pad. Scraps that are misc. from older pads that are used up, etc. I store in a drawer (and it's too full now!). I would like a drawer closer to my work area, but my craft space is small and very limited. I DO so look forward to your video each day!

Hi Suzy, scoring without a scoreboard can be done but is very tricky. You can do it with a ruler and a bone folder or stylus. Your lines and measurements will have to be near perfect or your project will be misshaped...that’s why I said it could be tricky. You can usually purchase one with a 40 - 50% off coupon at ‘Michaels or Hobby Lobby for about $12. Well worth it if you are going to be doing wedding crafting.
