@@justinbrewer9912 thanks Justin! I dont have a video showing how I clean it, but I just use a heat gun and paper towels. If you’re not able to get the scent all the way out, you can also use rubbing alcohol after that. Give it a good 10 minutes to evaporate before using though.

Very nice🥰. Do you find it hard using a single wick to melt your candles in a double wicking? I have to double wick in order for it not to tunnel but the tins do get hotter. Do you have tunneling when you single wick your tins?

I do not have tunneling with these tins but if your candle in improperly wicked, this can absolutely happen. I hope that makes sense! The tins are harder to wick in general.

Hi Allen, I'm so glad you posted this video. Your videos are so calming and informative. Did you shop Makesy's 99 cent sale? I didn't because the shipping cost were just as much as the oils. And I live in Northern California. Makesy needs to negotiate better prices with their carriers.

Did you change the 464 coco creme recipe with the no 7 wax instead of 464? How does the hot throw of no 7 compare to the 464 alone and not in the blend recipe?

As I mentioned in the video, I use multiple wax blends. I continue to use both variations of the beeswax, soy, coco crème formula for my Woodwicks and some wholesale orders but not in these tins. No 7 simply replaced wherever I used 464 alone. I would say the hot throw is equivalent to a good batch of 464 but the difference is that this wax is consistently good.

Hello, quick question - does anything happen to the candles if you cover it right after you pour and them come back in 2 weeks after it has cured? Just wondering why we are told to " leave it overnight, then cover and let cure.". Any particular reason for that?

Yah that’s funny because candles technically don’t “cure.” However I do find that with most natural waxes, especially soy, waiting 5 or so days will help you get a more mature hot throw and will ensure the wax is completely solidified. I leave my candles overnight so that I can be sure the wax is solidified but this is often not necessary. 5 or so hours usually does the trick with most waxes!!!

How do you get your wax not to drop right after pouring? I purposely take my wax to 210-215 and right after pouring it immediately drops to 180 or less sometimes 185 but point is it drops from pouring

You can preheat your pouring pitcher with a heat gun. I usually take mine up higher (depending on the wax the exact temp varies) but I do not get that great of a drop. I’d recommend preheating your pouring pitcher or adding more wax or both. Hope this helps!

Tried this wax hoping it would work as great or better than soy 10, this wax gave me peaks at the wicks and not as hot a throw 😭 I use the 2 CDN 2 and it works great except on mango and coconut milk which seems to create smoke and gets very hot, it's extremely fragrant but do you have any suggestions on this particular fragrance?

Interesting!!! Different waxes definitely work better for different people I think. Soy 10 is a great wax though-I recently bought another 45 lb container to do some more testing. Some oils definitely don’t burn as cleanly!! That’s why it’s important to test them all out in your wax.
