Make custom bustier cups for a bridal gown corset. When the cups are damaged or inadequate in a store bought gown, you have to know how to make custom bustier cups. The pre-made ones are not going to be the exact shape that you need.
Look at the pattern that makes the cup lining to create your own molded cups to insert. **Pause at 17 secs to see the lining cup, (the part that would be against the skin.) That is where I got the pattern pieces from.**

Hi there.. this is a great video & can save your gal some money. I often make cups for my gowns because you can add fullness exactly where it’s needed. During Covid… terrible how often people refer to “bc” before Covid & “ac” after Covid but describes the timeline. Anyway “during “ Covid “ a bra cup that I often use went from $8.99 to top price of $10.99 depending on where purchased to $19.99… if you could find them at all. Needless to say making cups was a must. Shaping them is important & you, as alway, covered that too. Oh & the lighting change is great. Can’t remember if that was this video because I have watched so many of them. ❤

AllSewn Up No, the original ones were not pieced/sewn. They were molded foam. I copied the seam lines of the lining cup. No problem! :)

I usually stock a variety. They come in different cup sizes & different push up amounts. There's not really one right cup. I do always use the sew in types. Not sticky.

Benene Lane for something as "cut" looking as this, Yessss!!! I have push up cups right by my machine and I use them on the daily. This required more precision to get the structured shape that the design required.
