I just LOVE these and can't wait to give it a go! It might be an optical illusion, but with the large framed one you showed in close up at the beginning, have you cut through to reveal layers instead rather than stuck pieces on top? Either way, absolutely beautiful and a great way to experiment with colour. Thank you so much for sharing.

Could you define “gum strips”?

Hi Sandy, the "gum strip" is just brown paper tape with soluble gum glue on the back. You can get it brown or white. In Britain, it is called Gummed Brown/White Paper Tape. It comes in different widths, and I use the 2-inch one. It has suitable glues that adhere to the board and the paper really well so that you can stretch papers. I hope this helps. X😀

Glad you like it. It's a technique with loads of potential applicable to patchwork-type designs. I have used Jackson's Eco paper to stick the patterned squares onto.
