Over 6 - 7 years I gained 90 pounds from being unhappy, separated in aug 2019 and finally working on it now, and spent so much taking care of everyone else and “outgrowing” my old clothes.... I’ve been in the mindset of I have to lose at least 90 pounds and get a decent wardrobe before I can find the real deal. I have an online dating profile and was asked out to dinner (didn’t end up working out cus he’s 2 1/2 hrs away) but initially I started having a little anxiety attack because I haven’t lost the weight as I just finally started doing good 2 weeks ago and didn’t have a decent outfit. That opened my eyes big time as to where I am mentally and emotionally. I have some work to do to shift from not now to now

This is 100% true when it comes to energy and being ready and open emotionally for a relationship. For over a year I dated men who only wanted casual. Then I made my mind up and came to the conclusion that I was happy being single and was going to have fun and enjoy my summer. I still wanted to date a little, but focus was not on dating. After a few weeks of changing my mindset, I randomly got a message from a guy on Tinder and we ended up meeting for drinks. Let me tell you, he's amazing. What a breath of fresh air it is to finally find someone who knows what they wants and who can be completely open and honest with me. He is the perfect combination of both the casual men I thought I wanted. It's crazy how it happened, but he makes me so happy and I'm looking forward to seeing where our relationship is headed! I was literally going to give up on dating for a while.

My bf says he loves me..but I feel he has his guards up always..there's always a wall, he rarely shows his emotional side, most often he's very practical and unaffected by things that would affect a man . He does care for me too a lot and only rarely he shows his emotional or vulnerable side...it's like dating two different men..he's had a couple of bad relationships in the past and I understand that's the reason he always has a wall up...we have been dating for 1.5 yrs and many a times we have broken up too because I always felt he really didn't love me or was seeing someone else too coz of how he behaved all the time.

I would say that my prerequicite is - falling in love with me, myself! I used to be "addicted" to men. Now - 2 years of therapy and I think its "not now". Not because I don't trust or don't like men. I know few very valuable, sensitive guys so- they exist ! :p . But now its quite short time that I use my energy focus on me, finally and I see that they see my "not now" and its OK. The time will come, but its not important now....

I have to say I enjoy your videos immensely and I've been watching dating videos and doing research for the last three and a half years because I could not understand why I was struggling to find a partner. Because prior to that 25 years before I didn't have a problem and I never use online dating so what I found is it there are people coming out of 20 and 30 year marriage is completely dysfunctional no skill sets for being and a healthy relationship and their communication skills are in the toilet. With men they always tell me they have wives that let themselves go that is the biggest killer for them wanting a divorce so they're always looking for women young enough to be their daughter full look like Barbie dolls and have perfect bodies when they look 6 months pregnant everybody is blaming the other person and there's no Clarity reflection or like growth people hold on to the Past and this is middle-aged men. So I find dating today I'm a logical processor I'm not an emotional one I can't be what I'd learned to trust that person but it is mind-blowing houses functional people are today and when I try to apply your skill sets and other dating experts the men look at me like I I'm an alien maybe when I got divorced I woke up on an alien planet and I need to build a spaceship get back to the normal people LMAO? So what advice do you have for me in my situation because I have been single for the last 3 years because I will not put up with someone who has a terrible skill set. I don't understand why it's so difficult to find a man who has principles morals and integrity that's never cheated and is Honorable active and mentally stable I don't really think that's a lot to ask but I guess it is today
