"Don't waist it, eat it" ~... is what my grand- mother(full blooded Polish Woman) would say to anyone that sat down at her table to eat. Oh and you best saved room for desert. You never walked away hungry that's forsure!

I have a lot of time for the Polish people. The things they had to go through during the war were atrocious.

I posted something similar to you, we have something in common...a Polish Grandmother lol. I don't know about you but all the beautiful fond memories with my grandma AND grandpa are forever burnt into my memory 💔 making homemade noodles, homemade apple pie, stuffed cabbage (pigs in a blanket) And there's another name for it i just don't know how to spell it its something like gowumpkis. Plus so much more. Oh do I miss them.
