M1L/M1R, I learned to say to myself, M1R- I’ll be right back and M1L- I left the front door open.

Brilliant, thank you, this is the clearest video on M1L/M1R ! Do you have a video on how to do these increases purlwise, showing which slant is which?

This was a godsend. I'm knitting up the musselburgh hat using fingering weight yarn and the increases were driving me nutty.

Great tip for the M1R, I lift the yarn with a tapestry needle and also lift the loop with that needle (and the same for M1L)

This was so helpful! Do you have any tips for M1L purlwise? I am struggling with getting the needle in the back loop!
@AuroraTalksKnit Жыл бұрын
It's SO fiddly! The same tips apply only in reverse. Just push that yarn around in the direction you need it to go so you can squeeze your needle in! 🤣

Love that yarn! Do you have the name of it?

Yes! It's by Vortex Yarns, color way Mushroom! The link to the yarn is in the video notes! 👍
