I’ve been creating stained glass for over 40 years and sell professionally. It took me a long time to figure out pricing my art. The hobbyists, who just “want to get their materials cost back” and importers are the worst for pricing low. My stained glass work is so unique and well made that those are no longer a problem for me, especially since I started selling at Sherwood Forest Renaissance Faire 15 years ago. I love y’all’s channel. I’ve actually learned a tip or two from Ed, too! Thanks for all the great videos!

@@ARTyRV yes I have one worksheet, but did not see another. This one had monthly overhead. I am not the most computer literate. I also purchased on my phone. I will try by a desktop tomorrow.

Thank you for this, very useful. Brilliant to see you both looking so well. You Arty obviously have recovered from your op, successfully. Sorry I have not been available to watch your program as spending quite a lot of time driving between the UK and Spain, then back again. Multiple times! I could scream as the renovation of my house in Spain is taking forever. Hey ho, such is life. Xx

Thanks so much I love you guys! When you say add cost of materials that’s my problem. I’m making sun catchers and confused on how to figure out cost for the flux, glass oil, & solder? Also unsure what cost to add for tool use such as cuts made with wheel cutter, &Taurus ring saw cuts etc. Any suggestions would be so greatly appreciated. God bless❤️
@ARTyRV9 ай бұрын
How much flux and patina do you use? How much glass do you use for each suncatcher? What is that cost? How much time does it take? Find those numbers first.

Help!!! My boss had this custom door made for his father who has passed. He thinks he paid $5k, but I can't find any receipts supporting this cost. He just wants me to sell as is. Just looking at it, can you suggest a price range? Please help. If I can get a price be considers acceptable, I am positive he would pay you some % of the sale.
