Your, "It still works," comment made me laugh. Last year I picked up the most rusted out lawn mower I've seen in 15 years of scrapping. The motor was duct taped to the rotted deck and as I was pulling it towards my trailer the motor was bouncing up and down. The owner says to me, "It still works," as if if I needed one he'd just made my day for me.

People put their scrap out for anyone to pick up. I myself am not a scrapper but if I see something sitting by the curb I can use/fix, it comes home with me. Watching your show makes me want to scrap but have no place to store the copper/ aluminum. I did have a scrapper that sold me lawn mowers to be repaired cheap but he went to prison . It's all free to the first person stopping. That's life.

Isn't it marvelous that trees get time to rest and they celebrate it by dressing up in their best colours. That is so wonderful that someone in your own town found you through a relative in Korea. How small is this world. ? Those dishes were really old late 50s or early 60s . Is it just me or are some things in this world getting nuts. I haven't bought granola bars in a while and ordered a box. Opened to try one and they are a lot smaller and instead of 6 in a box only 5 but the price has gone up. Starting to think I am losing it. I notice that with a lot of stuff . Do they really think we do not notice?? Have a great week. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤

Do you have a lot of extra candy?
@erinparker64383 жыл бұрын
No my kids and husband took care of it. But I didn't buy a lot this year. I saw a ton of people gathering in the town for a party so i am assuming that was the halloween this year, they trick or treated in the businesses then had a big outside party in the square. Times are changing and turning strange. I really hope years from now we are not telling our grandkids about how we used to go around to every neighbor and get candy for halloween. Maybe we should start something less evil but still includes the social aspect. What would you think would be a good idea? Christmas treating and instead of asking for candy you give a homemade gift to each house? Or just candy to each house. That would be cool.
