May I know the paint you used? Does the paint make the surface less rough? Thanks

I made a nice comment yesterday and saw you replied on in my notifications, but I can not find the message back here at all, do you know where the comment and your reply went? Could you re-share the reply?

@@Smallbarnworkshop thank you! I found this reply in my gmail: HI. I will give you what I can. I moved house earlier this year and sold the desk with the house. I used it everyday for about 18 months and I loved it. Yes. I bought a 8 x 4 sheet and the local builders merchants cut to 4 x 4 x 2 so I could get it into the car. The top was one full 4 x 2 with the edges cleaned up - so a few mm of each way. The height depends on how tall you are. If you google your height you can find the best desk height for you. The hole saw is 60mm diameter. I used 32mm pocket hone screws and possibly 40mm standard screws where necessary. The varnish is just quick drying solvent free from Screwfix, but you can pick up pretty much anywhere. I probably set the angle to about 30 degress. Hope this helps. Regards JP Could you tell a bit more about the legs? You did not use a single 4 x 4 x 2 per leg then, right? * Chair height: 46.5 - 50 cm Your thighs and feet should be parallel to the floor (thighs and lower legs forming 90-110° angle) * Desk height: 71 - 79 cm Your elbows and underarms should lie straight on the table. Make sure there is a 90-110° angle at the elbow * Monitor height: 130 - 134 cm Looking straight, you should be looking at the top third of the screen.

That looks like an excellent build! I got 18mm 240cm x 110cm OSB boards and would like to give this a shot, can you share any more information about your dimensions and any sketches please? Sizes of the hole saw? Sizes of the screws? Type of finishing trade interior varnish? I see 4 x 4 ft x 2ft pieces of OSB used. What angles did you use for the edges of the desk? ( found my original question)

@tuxcrafter Hi. So, as you say I bought a 8 x 4 with my local merchant cut to 4 @ 4x2. I sold the house in the summer and the desk went with it, which was a shame is I used it almost every day - I may even make another ☺️ the holes were 60mm. The angles were around 30 degrees. The varnish is just quick drying solvent free from Screwfix although all diy shops sell it. That way you can give it a lot of coats quickly.

The top was made from one of the pieces so in your case 1100 x 600mm. If you google your height and desk you can find the perfect working height for you

OSB can look really good with a proper finish applied to it.
