Just a suggestion , next time you have to use those skewers, double them up, side by side to get the flatter turning surface. You just need to be careful building and turning them. But you won’t have to put them together to stop them from rolling under the grill 😁🙏
@borntodoit87443 жыл бұрын
I suggest either use a wire tray to put the kebabs on (so juice drips thru and doesnt boil the meat) or use a couple of peices of foil crumped heavily then pulled apart and rest the kebabs on the foil (again the juice will drip down be caught by the crumples) Nothing rolls away. No need for skewers then. I personally love these receipes but this one i didnt find flavour some at all. I think i need to double or triple even - the green chillies, the garlic and the ginger for my taste.

I'm about to make them again now, so rechecking how to make them before I start. The mans super gifted. The most brilliant people attract jealousy, so I'm not surprised to see he has haters who have nothing better to do then make stupid / useless / unpleasant comments. Please keep making your fantastic videos Latif & ignore the stupid / useless / unpleasant comments.

reduce your initial meat (smaller handfull) - put it on successfully THEN add more meat as a 2nd layer. I create meatballs then skewer then flatten into one whole kebab.

No one invented cooking meat on a skeewer, it is something that probably goes back to cavemen. The word kebab is a word you find in turkish cuisine not greek. In greek it would be giros or offton (phonetic).

They look phenomenal, bro. Tried this for our lock down Eid earlier this year. The hardest part, like you say, is getting the meat on the skewers as uniformly as possible. NOT easy! Just take your time and don't rush it. Thankfully, I done it the night before and left them in the fridge overnight. Was gonna light the bbq and then make them! If I had, the bbq would have burned out before I'd finished!😁 Thanks for the vids. 👍

That's not a Shish kebab in my opinion. My understanding is that it is whole cuts of meat Skewered. If a kitchen gives me this I always refuse It, what are you trying to hide? Yes, it does even out the fat across all of the meat, but I would rather you selected your meat better. This is very much a spicy sausage meat dish. I am fairly lucky in East Mids UK as all our Kebab houses Skewer the meat after it has been marinated. I like to see the meat and understand what part of the animal it came from based on its texture. I got a Shish Kebab from a 4-star Tandor in Birmingham last year that was minced like this and I ended up in hospital with severe food poisoning.
@fishfingers160 Жыл бұрын
Shish Kebab is mediterranean/middle eastern in origin. Seekh Kebab, on the other hand, is Indian/Pakistani, which is what this recipe is. The author has clearly confused the 2 given the ingredients he is using.
