😱 this is my new go to recipe for all cookies! I used this recipe for graduation cookies and they turned out perfect. I was able to stencil for the first time ever on cookies. Thank you Pam for sharing your amazing recipes and techniques with us newbies.

I love this recipe! I do mine thinner and chill it a few minutes before transferring it to the cookie.

You could lay the cookie on the rolled buttercrean instead of peeling it off the Parchment paper

Pam- can you use the fondant cutters, and tools to shape decorations? (I am specifically meaning the ball tipped tools, that kind of indent/curl the shapes that have been cut)

My customers that I've given rolled buttercream cookies to have LOVED it and ALMOST ALWAYS order it now! The key is getting them to try it, then they'll be hooked!

Hi Pam , could you do this trick of beating till white with Swiss meringue buttercream ? Beat it then add to Swiss meringue? How long would you then mix the two together?

I would definitely beat my butter smooth before adding the egg whites.....it will give you more white

Hi, Pam! I’m Simone from Brazil! To wait for the buttercream to dry before adding decorations, should I store it in a container with a lid or leave it in the open air? I wonder if the cookie's crunchiness will be lost if it takes 24 hours to dry.

I keep out on a tray with a fan for 12-24 hours. The icing keeps the cookie moist. Xo

Hello Pam, I’m going to try this with a knit mold for panelling a cake. How long will the panel stay secure on the side as this is for a fundraiser as a donation? Would be horrified if it released. I have to make the cake 1-2 days before the event.

I'm not sure. I recommend rolled buttercream as accessories or for cookies

How would you do like a snowman with two different colors? White and black for a hat. How would you do just the hat portion?

I cut out a whole piece of the colored icing with the snowman cutter. Using a knife I Cut off the parts that are to be a different color. Then fit them like a puzzle back on the cookie.

Hi Pam! Former wedding cake designer here, and stress was the same reason I phased that out of my life. Tried the RBC recipe, and Man is it good! Used it on cutouts for a baby shower cake, moulded it with non flex molds and it de-molded fine for the most part. ** Do you use it in deep molds? ** Also Coloring the RBC say, deep red or black? Tips for those situations? Planning decorated sugar cookies for fall/Christmas craft shows, and feel that the RBC is going to be that time saving trick to get me through production for those events. One girl show gig is challenging so saving all that time time and have a great tasting replacement for the is really huge. Thank you for sharing and any consideration. You Go girl!

Someone mentioned they found it difficult to find Corn Syrup in Canada. I live in a small town in southern BC just outside a small city. We have a Walmart and 4 grocery stores in total . I am able to find Crown brand Lily White Corn Syrup in all of them.

Yes no problem. I use light. That's just a reference to the "color". There is light and dark

You can add royal icing elements after allowing the rolled Buttercream to crust 12-24 hours
