It is working only when the empty is not tilted. When the tank needs to climb a slope it is falling apart.

the tracks do not rotate for more than 90 degress to the side. If you do rotate them further than 90, they start rotating in the opposite direction

What version of Blender are you using? Did your animation deform when trying to do Z rotation?

as a warning to anyone before they get their expectations too high the tank tracks cant be rotated in any axis but the z without the tracks deforming

BTW, to fix the track rotation, you can selec both of curve and press TAB and after that, right click and select switch direction, it will fix the problem thanks Btw: why it not work in my case. When i rotated the empty it deform the trail

adjust each vertices along the 3 points on each side very carefully by using G and select an axis

I will echo Radhin. This is an interesting approach, but even after adding the Child Of constraints, my track deforms straight out of the path. Can you post the blend file?

I figured it out to work for me. For the first one you apply with all of the Xs unchecked. However, for the next one, you apply it with all of the scales, the Z for location unchecked. Note that you have to Apply unlike his instruction. He may have a different version. I''m using 2.8
