I will use post flow on MIG at work when welding thin metal with gaps. It helps cool down the weld and keeps the porosity to a minimum. That being said...probably a waste of gas and $$$ in this application. On sqare tube, I will use cut hard wood blocks and all purpose adhesive on the open ends. Quick sand and some paint to make a finished look that isn't wasting electricity and consumables for aesthetics. I love your magnets, very neat.
@GiacoWhatever9 жыл бұрын
oman1999 Absolutely agree! The post flow here was definitely a waste... Eventhough I have the gas for free... I left the ends open just because I wanted to finish it the same day... They look really horrible, can't agree more... A friend of mine will give me plastic caps to try out... Will see how they look... Thank you for your comment, really appreciated! Have a great one...

like all the videos, very nice.....welding can be used for art... but when used for structural connections, ..... they need proper prep before welding. not removing the dark scale and not grinding chamfers on the pieces for good weld penetration can lead to a failure when under stress....surface welding of 2 peices of steel isnt as strong as it looks. Not trying to be critical, just want a safe shop for ya to begin with...best and thanks for the shows......

Bello. Volevo chiederti come ti trovi con la 215, io vorrei prendere la technomig 210....secondo te riesco a saldare le ringhiere, piatto da 12 e barello da 12 mm entrambi pieni? Great editing and great effort, but I suspect a broken welding cart is in your future. The top shelf was only supported by your 2 welds in the back near the handle. After pushing it around and the long tongue bouncing up and down, eventually that will snap or bend down and drop that nice welder.
@GiacoWhatever9 жыл бұрын
Brandon Wilson I didn't show all the welds... One week ago a friend of mine asked me is it was sturdy enough... We JUMPED on the shelf in two! Almost 200 Pounds total (jumping) and it didn't even bend... :) I still need to learn A LOT, like REALLY A LOT! But this will NEVER break...
