I picked up a pretty manakin head and bust made for showing wigs at a yard sale. If I'd known you were making this vid, I'd have loaned it to you. Seeing an attarctive blond getting butchered would have made the video even more dramatic. I have a very healthy respect for grinders. For cuts, I mount the grinder in a desktop stand, which allows it it be operated like a compound mitre saw, with the metal or wood piece fimly clamped.

This is a very wrong video, Disks usually don't explode like that, People in the comment section saying "Now I'm feeling safer with my grinder" are so wrong, you only need one explosion to end your life. if the chance of a disk hitting you is 1/ 4000 and you have been using your grinder safe for the past 20 years then now your luck is out, you have the chance of 50% for that disk to hit you. The more you use it, the higher the chance it will hit you. it's just a matter of time.

Incredibly well done product video. I actually went back and watched the pivotal part of the video several times. And it still worked. I've suffered from panic attacks for over 20 years, so I can definitely empathize with you. Oh, the Motion Zero looks like an incredible product. Almost forgot to include that.👏

Nice, tight little project! Is there much wiggle or slop in the joints? I'm considering a project using angle and rivets, and was going to use "weld" epoxy in the joints for rigidity. Any advice?

Thanks for the informative video. I've been watching Maker videos on styrene and some of them turn the knife upside down and score with the back side of a knife allowing little curls to come up and it doesn't push the styrene down and cause it to pinch. Not my idea but I have tried it and it works better than just using the sharp edge of the blade, especially on thicker styrene.

I'm not completely sure but i just did the equations and that dart should be experiencing 5.08 kilos of force. if that dart is going at at Mach 2.35 with a generous fluid density of 1.007 Kg/m^3 and and area of 0.196 cm and a drag coefficient of 0.6212 because he is using an elite nerf dart you can use the equation for air resistance which is 0.5*1.007*(2878.85^2)*0.6212*0.00196 you will find that the dart is receiving 5.08 kilos of force. I don't think that the dart would be able to take that as you can see in the video at 0:50 that the dart barley even warps under those pressures. I'm not trying to say that your faking it but i think it would be better for a more in depth showing of the forces of the dart.

_"Always uses discs that are high quality."_ My good man, high quality and Made in China are not two things that are mutually compatible. Thanks for doing the video 👍 and I really must get a good quality full face shield for when I use my angle grinder and the 1.5mm thick discs that I use.
