My favorite chrome to use is either alclad chrome paint for a dark chrome look or ultralumen chrome, the ultralumen is a much cleaner chrome but much less durable so it needs a proper coat.

@miguellopez3392 Thanks for that information, my friend! I will try those chromes. I used graphite powder for metal effects on many pieces, but I am switching to chrome paints now. It is a fragile finish in many ways tho. Would you suggest a final spray of clear over the chrome ?

@Jessesmall both chromes need a clear coat over them to protect the chrome finish, the ultralumen requires clear coats typically used on cars like 1k and 2k clear coats, 2k clear coat is probably some of the most toxic paint so a VOC rated mask is heavily recommended.
