Band: Make Them Suffer
Song: Prologue/Neverbloom
Album: Neverbloom
This video includes the Prologue because you don't hear it often, and it leads into Neverbloom. Neverbloom starts around 1:34 if you want to skip it.

All images for this video were pulled from the Make Them Suffer Facebook page here: www.facebook.c...
or from Google images.
If you see your work and would like me to post a source, link, or remove the video, please let me know.
I do this entirely for fun and make these in Windows Movie Maker, mostly because I don't have the time to spend to learn Sony Vegas or some other better media editor. That, and it's expensive as shit.
I will probably do the rest of the Make Them Suffer songs that don't already have lyric videos for them, then move on to other bands. It's just a past-time for me, so don't expect back to back videos.
Comment what you like, don't like, or criticisms.

Such a beautiful song. People think all metal/deathcore is just screeming about killing people but I show them the lyrics to this.......change there minds instantly. One of the best songs ever written.

Yea, although the betrayal and backstabbing part is pretty cringe, not gonna lie. If they put all that effort into writing these amazing lyrics throughout, I don't understand why they just cut those corners so short.

A gem among modern deathcore, which tends to really suck. I should listen to more of their songs though...just this one is so feelsy to me, I can't get away from it.

Well if you think this is feelsy definitely check out their song "Elegies". They are also working on a new album but their single they put out isn't all that promising. This album "Neverbloom" is truly amazing though and I recommend listening to the whole album.

It was okay. They kind of stayed in the same key and tuning the whole time so honestly most of the Neverbloom album simply sounded the same, but I give them credit for the release, they've made me a fan. Not of deathcore, gods no, but of at least this band.

***** There's no much riffing since Neverbloom, so I wouldn't say that they have a more approach to death metal. Maybe in Lord of Woe they had some inspiration, but they changed gutarist. Lately all that MTS has done is pure melodic metalcore breakdowns.

@@parkourandfreerunning4214 Yeah, screams definitely have some BM inspiration in em, and some of the band’s earlier songs do as well, like Requiem and Neverbloom. This is just one of their older songs that I don’t think takes much from it.

I highly doubt the song is actually about the woodland and flowers, Widower also has a similar metaphoric style. Though I am hesitant to guess as to what it is.
@kodiw123
@kodiw123 6 жыл бұрын
Sorry to necro this comment but I can explain it. The "forest" represents memories with between the character and morrow (person he loves.) He's talking about the flowers (their love) dying not blooming cause morrow betrayed him. Hence also why the orchards stopped growing. Winter is coming and destroying his soul and killing the forest. All of this is caused by the Lord of Woe who is the personification of depression and other thing. The whole album is poetic like this, along with the rest of their albums, But yeah, if you search around you can find huge explanations on this album and others. Make them suffer even goes to the point where Old Souls (their album after this) is made to listen to last song to first.

Morrow is the Lord Of Woe’s lover. All of Neverbloom is from the Lord Of Woe’s view. Morrow is the old man in the Neverbloom and Elegies videos. They’re the cause for the forest (both literal and their relationship) dying. As Morrow dies when the song ends, the forest starts to regrow.
