" I didn't cut these so they should all be the same size." LOL Boy can I relate to that! Every time I cut out pieces for a quilt I get closer and closer to buying an Accuquilt machine.

I'm glad I am not the only one. I purchased an Accuquilt machine, but I don't use it regularly. Evidently I prefer to struggle. In my defense, I don't have all the dies so sometimes quilt patterns call for sizes I don't have. Thank you for watching and commenting. April

Hello April .. I have purchased fat quarters they are all solid colours and I was wondering if there is an easy quilt that i can make using the squares to look like a jelly roll strip?? what would be the measurements of each new square?? I have now made 3 rag quilts, 4 disappearing 9 square quilts and I am going to try to make this other one.. also when i use fleece for my backing can i still use my walking foot to use to sew it together with the batting ... ? You are so talented and would you ever come to Canada esp Ontario to put on a workshop at a quilting store ?? if so please do come..!!Thanks for your time and you are fantastic.. your Canadian friend Sharon Nissen.. Like Nike says - Just do it! There is no better way to learn than by doing it. The very first quilt I made was for my Granddaughter and I knew she wouldn't care if it wasn't perfect. I also used fabrics that I just loved. It is fun using something you like because well, you like it. LOL. And you can always rip out those stitches. It is only fabric and I even enjoy making quilts when I am ripping out stitches - it is just all part of the process. If you are super nervous, make some placemats for your table. They are like mini quilts and when you're done - you've practiced and you have something to decorate your table. Thank you for watching and commenting. I hope you are super pumped to go make something now. 😀 April
