Every Panther that spawns is a 3 star, at least in this location because only Florida Panthers spawn here and only one spawns every 3 in-game days and you can't find Florida Panthers anywhere else in the game, hope this helps :)

Another good spot is in Lemoyne on the road towards that abandoned camp/town across from Lagras....there's a giant tree to the right while you ride the road towards that place if you ride slow enough a panther will tend to spawn by that tree

Had to try it three times, but it worked. On the first try I died bc I was on the wrong rock and was too slow to shoot. On the second I got the perfect pelt but was attacked by the freaking Lemoyne riders on my way to Saint Denis and died.. On the third try I had to wait a bit until I saw the panther chasing a deer. Have a poisoned arrow and go to the panther location and ride your horse around the panther area. He will attack you but you have decent time to attack him with the poisoned arrow anywhere wait for him to die and congratulations you got a perfect skin (Sorry about my English)

It's easier to just ride into the area and wait til you see the red dot appear then waste him baiting him takes way longer and sometimes it doesn't even show up you can use a deer carcass if you skin it there it works as well but again takes longer If it's not showing its likely cause of a camp nearby and if you ride out of the area and back it will appear
