I just wanted to say, you can use a matte medium to seal in watercolor. The papers are great 👍

The fan brush made surpisingly lovely marks. I already have enough of a problem throwing anything away, and my house shows it. This is a great art tip, but a very bad housekeeping example for me!

I have been saving my kids school work and notes from when .i went to college. I have had a hard time dumping them even though the kids don’t want them. I think I will use them to make journals.

Wow! I Love your idea!! That’s such a great way to both use and honor the papers they kids have brought home and no longer want. I’ve got way too many of those sorts of papers between my twin sons. Thanks for the awesome inspiration!! 😻

I absolutely love mark making, and I have paint on my hands all the time, in fact there is some on them right now. Your collections is just grand. I thought it was brilliant when you painted up the twig and rolled it. The other day I got obsessed with the marks a feather was making and filled a whole page…also the dried seed head of an echinacea flower makes superior marks. I have to try som rocks now…. Thanks for a fun tutorial.

I love having paint on my hands, love the smell of paint, and being a "recovering perfectionist" myself I really needed this! I agree with you about it having a meditative effect. Time stands still when you get lost in a creative process, doesn't it? Thank you so much for sharing and I love your collage papers!

Kyie - this video sparks so much creative energy in me - while - at the same time - inviting me to an almost meditative creative interaction with repurposed materials. How freeing! I am a perfectionist in many areas of my life - but I came to artistic expression late in life - and - your videos - especially - help me to enter into a flow of creativity instead of focusing on end results. Thank you so much!

I loved this video Kylie, I think we can get a lot of experience by just mark making without a project in mind! I find that you allow yourself the freedom to experiment and you can end up with surprising results that you want to incorporate into your painting. You can practice just the different techniques using a pallet knife which does help tremendously. I love the idea of getting the papers ready with intension to play and put them in our flowish pile!💕🇨🇦
