Jeven Dovey Hey Jeven ! Id love to purchase Final Cut Pro but the link wont let me. At check out they somehow want business information as if this wasn’t meant to be purchased by a private household... what can I do to get this awsome Programm because I dont want to spend 400$ on the Apple Final Cut Pro. Or am I mixing this up and your Programm is just an addition to the apple program? Kind regards, Luisa

Hi Jeven - I really love all your Mavic Air tutorials. I just bought a Mavic Air a few weeks ago and they've really helped me learn how to fly it! I have a question though - I just shot some footage this morning - some in 1080 120fps for slow mo and some in 2.7K 24fps. The 24fps footage looks great, but the 1080 is really grainy and has an almost TV static look to it. Have you seen this before? Just wondering if I maybe have a setting wrong? (I had the shutter at 240). Thanks!
@eagleeyeproductions23173 жыл бұрын
Always shoot on 4K even if you plan to edit in publish in 1080. This drone does not look nearly as good when shooting in 1080. Also unless you are shooing high speed action subjects, lower your frame rate to 30 or 24. I personally prefer 24fps because it has a more natural and film like look to it.

Jeven Dovey ye exactly, can't I get same results by edditing after shooting without the filters?
@JevenDovey6 жыл бұрын
No. Theres no filter that fixes motion blur. Its something that can only really be done in camera using ND filters because you need to change the shutter speed. Just like aperture. You cant fix shallow depth of field in post using digital filters. Has to be done in camera.

I have a question. In the video you explained your reasons for shooting in 4k 60 all the time. My question is if you know the final project is going to be in 24p doesn't it save some transcoding time if you shoot in 24p? Also, does 60p footage slowed to 24p look more cinematic than footage shot natively in 24p?
@vh7416 жыл бұрын
Jerky movements are a real problem for me. The really obvious thing that you are trying to avoid after few flights but really hard to actually avoid this. Especially if you have to film something that moving fast And thank you for the information about polarized filters

i had the phantom 4 pro and i was pretty unhappy about the oversharpening and moiré ... does the maciv air behave better ? i mean here in youtube your footage looks fantastic
@JevenDovey6 жыл бұрын
I like the footage out of the air. I haven't used a phantom 4 pro but the image is probably better in the pro. The quality of the phantom is much better than the air. You might just need to adjust your settings to bring down the sharpness. Also just remember that no camera is perfect and you should focus more on shooting awesome videos. There will always be problems if you hunt for them. Just use the camera that makes sense for you and shoot better videos not worrying about every little detail.

Hey great tips and I loved the hiking video! I am just back from Mexico as well! The only thing I'd change is that a polariser filter is to reduce glare and haze in a photo/footage not to make it look crispier. If you want to capture reflection then ditch your polariser. Good video anyways
