It's so cute! I like that the quilt looks like it was made from old shirts, lends itself nicely to this project. You did a great job showing how to make the pattern without cutting up your sweatshirt. I'm excited to try this. Thanks for making it look doable

this is sooo cool. As a quilter I run into old quilts all of the time that may not be able to be saved as a quilt... but there is probably enough good areas to do this with the quilt. I love the idea of making a hoodie from a quilt that grandma made

He traced the sleeve hole on one side with the rotary tool and then traced the full sleeve one the other side. You only need one of each in paper because they will work for both sides.

Quilts are the only history of women and cutting them up for fast fashion is like destroying anthropology. Use old blankets bought from the store but please, leave the handmade quilts alone. They never depreciate.
