I have found to get quick results with almost the same outcome if you do you trace. Then with the trace selected do an offset trace outershapes say 2mm. Then select the original trace ungroup delete the body. Then select the offset line and do an offset of that line in the same distance you offset it out. Delete the outer line and your good to go. This will save a crap load of time of doing node modification.

I’m always impressed by the all the possibilities with this machine. If you’re ever up for it, it would be really cool to see your favorite things that you’ve made! Maybe as a quick short haha

Good video. Good Example (I spent close to 38 years in EMS). BTW - the link to the ambulance file is the data and not an SVG or JPG.

Did you say it took an hour to cut that out? I have no experience with laser cutting but it surprises me the machine takes that long!

Great video. You could also make the lines go straight across and make new wheels with the circle tool. Then use the Boolean assistant to add the wheels to the outline. Probably how I would do it. Also, that's an easy jpeg to convert. Most jpegs will take longer to convert with this method. I hear there are some great AI models you can use with stable diffusion to convert images to vector files. I haven't tried it yet though.

I just got a laser and i plan on using it to build planes and I am interested in the wood you used to repair your plane what was the wood you used? Was it from rc shop or did you get it online. Thank you very much for the video.

Like the ancient pen plotters in the 80s, no rhyme nor reason for how it decides to draw the lines.
