It’s not just your quilting skill I admire. I am so impressed with your imagination and variety of ideas, new ways to quilt I have not thought of before. Quilting well is great, but, what to quilt and where to quilt the design is your best lesson for me.

Thank you for your kind comment! I love testing different ideas and see what works. From time to time I have a failed project but most of the time the textures always work. The more I quilt the better understanding I have. For now I enjoy the lerning process ❤❤❤

Something as simple as adding the echo lines around the boxes made such a big difference. Thank you for sharing so much.

This video is just collection of simple patterns and how to use them to practice and get better at quilting. seeing how small things add to design is a bonus lesson. I am happy to hear you liked it!❤❤❤

Thank you for the bold modern shapes! These can all be used for masculine quilts as well. Loved the slender echoing to separate the designs.

Yes, definitely. It was first time I tried this idea. I am learning a lot while making those videos. Those simple shapes make for some modern quilting. ❤❤❤

When I saw your thumbnail, I said "WOW!". That is impressive and striking, the overall effect, I mean. I had never heard the word "parkour", learned something, thanks! I have a plan for a table runner using the Indian Star block, but will likely wait until the end of the month to start it, just too much to do to settle into a quilt project, too much garden dirt under my fingernails, LOL. Thanks again for the relaxing interlude, Gosia. Hope your upcoming week is pleasant and productive. ~Cynthia

HI Cynthia! return to work was kind of busy. Too much to do not enough time. So I understand you all too well. It is frustrating sometimes, how little time is left if you want to grow your passion and skills. But this was also the reson for the Parkour video. We want to quilt a special project and expect our skills to be immidiately high. But we do need training and I want to provide interesting ideas so we can challange us. In comparison, quilting of a traditional patchwork will be a walk in the park. Have a great week. Working with "dirt" is good for our souls. ❤❤❤❤

Thanks for another brilliant video. I had never heard of parkour either. So many tips in this video to help practise🙏🧡

Hi there! It is all about practice and how to keep it interesting. We want to be quilting ninjas :). I noticed that since I started with YT videos and all the crazy ideas my quilting got better and easier. Standard quilting on a large quilt is so much easier becasue I trust my skills. So, I want to motivate my viewers to train more :) Fits with the Olipic games ❤❤❤❤

I have lost my quilting mojo since my move, but I am so inspired by your tutorials that I bought some nice fabric on clearance, a bunch of gold threads and several shades of coral to deep orange to practice. If I stick with the colors of fabric I got, I may end up with a quilt. Lol

Great idea! Thank you for your feedback! I am always so happy to hear taht I could provide inspiration or ideas. And I love quilting with strong colors. It adds dimension and helsp to understand the process on a new level ❤❤❤ Have fun and let me know how it went.

Absolutely right re practice and this was very relaxing to watch. Personally I like a bit of "wobble" - total straightness looks too perfect and machined. A bit of wobble makes it "human" and in my opinion more attractive because it is unique. Perfect is ultimately boring! Beautiful work.

We have the same view on free motion quilting. Little imperfections are jsut our signature and what it original and unique. There are quilters that use swirls and I can distinguish their style just becaouse of their unique touches. And I am learning a lot about my little signature imperfections as well. It is good to embrace them ❤❤❤

The "problem" is that I learned English mostly from books. I do not care if I read Britisch, AMerican or Australian....so sometimes I will use words that are not typical ... But it got some attention 😅😂❤❤❤
