It took me a while to understand what to download and what to do, and i had to restart the game twice before the gshade(?) menu would load, but this is a very good tutorail! Great that all the resources are linked too. My menu/gamebar is a bit overexposed and i feel like i'm missing something, but i'm happy for now!

Hey guys! Idk if anyone else couldn't figure out on how to open gshade. 4.1.1 will pop up at the top of your sims for to do a tutorial of it. You can skip the tutorial or go through it. For some reason GShade wouldn't work for me, so I finally did it with ReShade. My game looks so good now! It's so soft, and there's no annoying bloom everywhere! Thank you for your beautiful preset, my videos and screenshots will be amazing now

Ive tried gshade on my laptop before, but unfortunately, it lowers the performance of my game tremendously :( My laptop is just not fit to handle it haha. But as soon as i get a gaming pc, i'll def come back to this video for help.

I got an acer nitro 5 and it handles running my game on ultra graphics with gshade. I have to use a cooling pad to help keep it cooler but it runs really well. It’s semi budget friendly too. I’ve seen other simmers get it so that’s why I got it. I was playing on a MacBook before.

If you have Windows 10 or above, Just copy paste the two folders there as it's gonna auto replace everything for you while keep other files that didn't get replaced there untouched

Unless I missed you mentioning it, in which case, I apologize! but I think it's important to mention that whenever you repair your game, it WILL reset your lighting overrides! I am not so sure if a normal game update will do as well, but repairing the game will reset it❤

Heyy!! I wanted to say thank you for this reshade its the first one I have ever tried! and been using for like a 6 months!. But I was curious if this is a reshade then why in another video they have a reshade application for reshades? does this mean I can only use the reshade that you provided in the gshade application? Can I use any reshades in the gshade application? Like if I where to do your other watermellon reshade, do I just follow the steps here again and place into the folder mentioned in the video? Or do I need to download the reshade application? I am hoping I can download ANY reshade/ghsade and beable to place into my game through the ghsade application :(

Ever since I last updated my game reshade won't work. The bar that's supposed to appear on the superior part doesn't appear and I thought maybe it was reshade so I switch to ghade but it still won't open or appear :( if anyone knows what the issue might be I would really appreciate the help, I already installed and uninstalled it several times and repaired the game and checked the security properties. you would right click on adof and there should be a section that says “click to set keyboard shortcut”. from there, choose any key you’d like and it should save for that specific preset only. if you want it for other presets, just change their shortcut as well ☺️

yall please be careful with this. when downloading, it broke my game and didnt let me open it. gave me some message about a video card.. if any of yall have this issue: go into your files and delete ts4 files, mods dont need to be deleted. just delete the files you replaced. good luck with your mods

if your game is lagging a lot even with some settings turned off, then unfortunately, your pc may not be strong enough to run gshade :(

need some ressurance or answers : so i downloaded gshade (ini) preset, and I'm curious + SCARED lol, since i seen a whole ton of ppl saying GShade (website) has malware inflicted in it,, and last month - ppl were still having issues with downloading it. though...there's another half of ppl saying that it only shuts down ur computer if import it in a wrong way, due to the "anti.tamper" that was added in GShade to stop ppl taking their presets into reshade (may be wrong), lastly - that it almost impossible to uninstall. question: okay, so here's my question, did it impact ur gameplay at all?? like buggy/frozen or laggy game, messed with mods, or did ur computer ever shut down randomly ? ( also, if u can tell me a safe way to do this, I would love it ! but if u have no idea, its fine.)

gshade is fine and safe to use especially if you’re only playing sims! :) i wouldn’t promote gshade if it was harmful to your computer. only download gshade presets on reputable websites like simfileshare or patreon! if gshade lags your game, you’re using a really heavy preset or your laptop is simply not strong enough to run it. lmk if you have any more questions!
