What a beautiful easy loaf, I haven't bought a Dutch oven yet. So I've just been making regular loafs in a loaf pan. Once I get a Dutch oven I'll definitely be trying this method ❤

I use the same recipe for loaf. I love loaf but that lid on a Dutch oven is what really helps with the oven spring. It’s very different tasting from Dutch oven! I’ve had this one for about 8 years now…

What if you want to include add ins, such as Rasins and Cinnamon or Jalapeños, Cheese and Bacon...when do you add them in, and do you change the salt ratio as well? Also is baking times and temperatures same or different??? Thanks so much 😍

Hi there! first timer here! JUst a quick question, i bought the king arthur all purpose flour, should i be using bread flour instead? i might have gotten confused along the way, thanks in advance!

So many different factors can be playing here. 1. How old is your starter 2. How thick was your starter fed 3. When was it fed. 4. Did you measure grams?

My starter came from King Arthur, feed for 3 days as directed, normal thickness not too wet not too dry, took 113gms to use for bread (or whatever your grams required) and yes I use grams.

After 2 hours the dough was not very happy. So I am starting over! And yes I use King Arthur’s Bread flour.
