Mind blown... Gosh, can you imagine all of the colour gradients one could come up with? This really puts one in control of truly creating a personal piece. Usually we're limited to the colours presented. Thanks for all the good info. So glad I watched this.

This is very timely since I'm making a baby blanket with 2 cakes but wanted a different order of the colors

Thank you for sharing this video! I am in love with this yarn. I bought random skeins of it and just went to town crocheting a blanket and it is beautiful in all the random colors, each skein seems to compliment each other.I tried to make a cardigan the same way, not so nice! So now I know how to make a piece of beautiful clothing with this yarn thanks to you.

I'm so glad I found your tutorial! There was a fingering gradient from an overseas brand with colors I really loved together. Now I can make my own fingering cake! Wow!

I'd love a cardi that's the right fit for me.. thicker & taller. I hope the pattern is easy to make for y'all & a bit larger. Thanks again!

Thanks for sharing! The video was so detailed and helpful. I had never seen the mathematical side of crocheting! I’m a lover of both :-)

I love this plan because a lot of times I don’t like the abrupt color change especially in knitting I’m more of a crochet person person. And a new knitter 😊 I will try this

Yes, I know what you mean! I like how this allows it to change colors more gradually, or at least give you a little more control over when it happens!

I noticed you got a few thumbs down. I follow you on a few different social media accounts, you are so nice. Your video does not deserve a thumbs down. I'm sorry people are so mean. You are so talented. Your designs are so awesome. I get so excited every time I see you've come out with a new pattern or in this case made a video tutorial for an older one. Thank you so much for making these videos. I love seeing them. They help me so much. Keep them coming!😀🌺🌈

Can I just use the mandala just let it flow and not cutting the yarn
@makedocrew17175 жыл бұрын
Hi Dorothy! Yes, you certainly can do that. It will simply create a different look with the striping. It will still be beautiful, though! :)

Great video of how to deconstruct the mandala cakes, but this isn't a true gradient. It's basically just striping. A gradient will seamlessly fade from one color to the next without the sharp color changes.

Thank You Very Much! BRILLIANT plan & FABULOUS outcome! Love the yarn samples on your sheet to identify your plan. So much detail, but you guided us through the process in a gentle, easy approach. 🧶👏👍🤗 I will use this as a guide for combining my Sweet Roll & Sweet Roll Fruits. Appreciate your time & talent to map it out for us. 😉 🤡 Therese Pisarcik 🧶
