I’m now cooking my own beans in the pressure cooker. Takes some time, but I knit and Netflix while that is going on. I bag them in can sized portions and freeze. Cheap, easy and I get to watch all the good stuff. Making these tacos tomorrow. You guys are great 👍.

If you have a slow cooker/crockpot you can definitely leave your beans in there overnight! That's what my mom does, it obviously takes many hours but you don't need to worry about them, just make sure they got enough water :)

i've made something similar to this out of the blue when my father wasn't into having meat tacos anymore, he loves all kinds of beans so i heated up the black beans in a pot like usual but i used a potato masher to get that same "refried bean texture" without using a blender or anything and he loves them!!! also swapped out the cheese for tomato/onion etc since he needs to eat lower sodium! :)
