The fake fur seems to be the best out of the two. Awesome idea!

Thanks, both work, but I agree, the fake fur seems to be a little better over time.

Thank you so much! Doing it now

Did it work? I'm still using mine. Intead of the tape you can also use hot glue, if you have some and are a little crafty.

My pleasure! They still work great although version 2.0 will probably use hot glue instead of tape.

I'm thinking of trying this, when I'm filming on my smartphone, all you can hear is me breathing - it's super annoying. Hopefully putting some fluff or foam where the mic is works?
@MakeItorBreakItNow7 ай бұрын
It should, you can also make adjustments to the mic setting on the phone that helps under certain conditions.

double sided tape, even the 3m vhb stuff, doesn't stick to foam. (i use foam) hotglue the double sided tape to the foam before sticking it on.
@MakeItorBreakItNow Жыл бұрын
Interesting, there's no foam on the gloves, fur, or the cases...

@@MakeItorBreakItNow the gloves are an excellent idea

now just remove the backing.... like its easy!!! lol that the worst part of any 2 sided adhesive tape. these are both great ideas
@MakeItorBreakItNow Жыл бұрын
Thanks Doc Ink. Agree the backing can be a pain sometimes... okay, manytimes...
@markifi Жыл бұрын
the trick is taking the glue part off the backing stright from the roll (roll out what you need and remove *only* the glue part, not the backing cover) makes application a bit more annoying and less precise, but nowhere near as annoying as having to remove the backing cover
