The FMS 1/6 Scale RC Suzuki Jimny 4x4: Overview, Test Drive, and Review

Getting back to posting videos after a busy couple of weeks. This look at the FMS Jimny is a nice way to get back into the swing of things. Build videos are on the way but take many times longer to film and edit, so these review videos have been a great way to bridge the gaps. I'm looking forward to running this Jimny at USTE 2023 as I think this rig will be perfect for the ultra scale trails at that event. This "crawler" may not be for everyone, but I think the scale guys and leaf spring fans will appreciate what FMS has done with this model.

U could lift the jimmy for free just move the axles from the top of the leaf springs to the bottom of the leaf springs it would have better crawling capabilities. that's what I would do.

But it might make it to top heavy.

Pretty sweet little rig. I think the first thing I would have to do would be to paint the Suzuki in the grill and the gas cap black. Thank you once again for awesome content.

My Jimny also arrived with the spare wheel broken off. The Jimny itself is superb. I have two 1/6th scale figures as driver and passenger.

random question, is it possible to fit the axles under the leaf springs instead of on top? like people do with suzuki sj410's?

It is. One of the most common mods done to give it a free lift & ability to use wider, meatier tires & aftermarket wheels.

Real LJ Jimnys do have a divorced transfer case like this model.
