Awesome video! I'm in the same boat where I play guitar and have like 7 different options sitting here in my room that I can use to live track whatever I need, but knowing how to program MIDI guitars like this is still an awesome tool to have. Like sometimes it sounds really cool to layer a MIDI track under your live tracked version for sound design/enhancement, and so you have to know how to program that properly.

Excellent video ! For me a superb plugin is UJAM plugins like Silk2 etc. They have a tone of ready phrases based on what you play (notes and chords). Like someone plays real. i play the midi chords, change some phrases on the plugin, and i render it like an audio. after that i cut / edit the audio phrase. You can achieve very high quality results
@MakePopMusic9 ай бұрын
hell yeah! Basically the same thing I'm doing here! Taking time to dial in phrase switching, adding in fret noise, and bouncing as audio can make it SO much more realistic.

@@MJ_Pictures_Studio I own Reaper and using it for a few years. Trying to learn music production. Lots of courses use Logic Pro or Ableton but almost none for Reaper. Would you advise to switch to Cubase? Also Cubase Pro is very expensive - are the lower versions of Cubase as functional as Reaper?

doesn't NI session guitarist plugins already convert a block chord in realistic sounding guitar patterns from their processing engine. Why would you need to stair case your block chords. That defeats the purpose of a smart guitar plugin.

guitar is the hardest instruments for VST to reproduce realistically, at least today, but I appreciated your effort, in my modest opinion it'e easier to get a real guitar and play it, and if u can't, then learn and play it. u have no choice
