Great Tutorial. By the way, could you please make some more full pop production walkthroughs? I really love the live stream you did a few months ago about it. It really helps me since the production methods you talk about translate well into any Daw since I'm working with Ableton. Also, is there a free pack on your store? II also used the tricks in this video right away, They were livesavers.

Hi Austin, I keep getting phasing issues when I'm trying these delay throws. It seems when I duplicate the track and add the delay or effects at 100% it is still phasing with the original vocal. Am I missing something? Not sure how to fix it. Thanks!

Hey great vid man! I’d love to get your thoughts or a vid on pad voicing when layering with piano. I’m always worried if I just copy over the piano midi, it’ll get too muddy. Do you tend to do that and just carve out space for the piano with eq? Or would you tend to reach for a couple drone notes that won’t fight the piano as much?

Really dig your work and so helpful advices :) Just didn't get something here...Are you muting the lead vocal "desert" word ? while the delay track desert" is played ? Cause on your "delay track" the desert word is real dry (even though delayed and processed just after ) so I'm thinking it would pop out of the mix or just sound bad for a second compared to that processed lead just above...Don't know if I' m clear and I might have missed something but just asking cause I might like to use your technique :) Thx again for all the work

How would this duplicate & drop onto a delay throw track method work if your routing your vocals to a vocal chain bus ? How would you be able to turn off the sends that vocal bus but maintain the insert plugins ??

I know you’re trying to make this video helpful for all DAW users Austin but you could’ve just add one plug in called multiband delay(Cubase Only)and do everything in it you know. However, thanks for the video and Good luck.
@MakePopMusic2 жыл бұрын
Multiband delay? You mean multi tap? And you could, but you won’t get the same flexibility and texture
@alidaneshkhahi49052 жыл бұрын
@@MakePopMusic my bad. Yea I meant the multi tap delay and I think you actually will be able to do so many things with it as the frequency shifter and so on; even you could add effects on each tap you make in the plug in. You could even make it as a send effect so you could still add 16 more effects on it as you did in this video. But still thanks for the video, I’m actually grateful for what you’re doing here on your channel and I wish you the best.

I threw my delay away, and the whole project is now delayed because of this. I should have known better, as what I threw away now is gone. I can just hope for that send return, sure. I played ping pong the whole afternoon but nothing helped…
