"It's just weird, everything is weird" - Dave Couldn't have said it better myself man. It sucks that this is all going on, just know that the work of makers like yourself are making this whole weird situation much more tolerable. Thanks for another amazing video.

As much as I miss the interaction and style Dan brings to videos, I also appreciate this throw back “just a guy with tools and a camera” style. I say “stay safe, have fun, stay passionate and make something” with you at the end of your videos. You should put that on a t-shirt. I’d buy one.

Everything is weird right now, which is what makes me appreciate your videos all the more. My son and I watch all of your videos and you're always doing interesting projects with a "Can Do!(whatever-I-want)" attitude that is always inspirational and amusing as hell, thanks for all you do Dave! I hope your family (and camera Dan's!) are being safe, having fun, staying passionate and making something!

I need to say thank you for this video. I've gotten into kind of a funk over the last week ecause I haven't been working. I have a small shop set up in my garage but didnt spend much time out there over the past few days. When you pointed to the camera and say "make something!" I felt like you pointed at me. I'm on my way out there now. Thank you that was the push I needed to get off my ass.

Hi David, thanks for your video, one day I would like to make segmented pots, I have the gear, so why not ? I wouldn't worry about people who complain to you, most of them probably have problems themselves and taking them out on you (easy target) I personally look forward to your video's. and the positive and happy messages you put across and you are a good teacher in my opinion. Kind regards, Bill (from Australia). By the way, it's weird here too.

Great video. It’s motivated me to try a segmented turning. Ive been turning for about a year and really enjoy it, but haven’t messed with turning the inside of wood like a bowl or a vase. Just between two centers. If you haven’t tried making pens yet they are super fun and will make great gifts when you can give people stuff again.

Great video and nice project David. Adding it to my list of things to make. I love segmented stuff. I have done some and made a Wedge sled to cut the segments. On the non lathe version you can use a router with a pattern bit (ball bearing near the shaft) of even if you don't have that use the bushing guide and templates for interior and exterior and then sand it - it is much faster then sanding it all the way

Noice! Cutting the same types of angles on longer boards allows you to make "stave-built" drums in a pretty similar fashion. That's a project I've been contemplating for a number of years. Got nothing but free time now. Guess I should give it a try. I miss Camera Dan too, but I think you did okay. It's like going back to your roots. It's weird.
