you know, i'm gonna be honest, i havent't really said much in your comment section. i just wanted to know i really appreciate your content and you inspire me as a player. too many engineers don't have game sense and just turtle on 2fort but you've proven me that there's more to engineer besides just sitting in the intel room. you aim well, you execute your gameplay well, everything about your engineer skill rivals that of other classes. you're really amazing dude

I feel like defensive Engineering gets more shit than it deserves. While I do believe that having 3-4 Engineers all cramped together in a room is unhealthy for the team, I do think it's a dirty job that at least one Engineer should consider taking on any map where both sides have objective to capture, while extra Engineers are the ones that go out and provide the team with nests to take cover. A game of CTF without an Engineer on the defensive is like a game of hockey without a goalie. Sometimes the puck is going to get past the offense and if you don't have a goalie to stop it, they're going to score. I've had far too many games where the other team didn't have an Engineer in the intel and the enemy was being super aggressive instead. Sentries in mid and all that. And 9 times out of 10 we win by simply having my friend go Spy, slip past the enemy with his cloak, and inch the briefcase out. Every time he picks it up they have to run back to stop him. Maybe one or two will stay to watch over it while the rest head back out. My friend respawns, takes them out if he can, and whether he can or not, he will go for the case, even if it means dying. All it takes is holding it for a fraction of a second to keep it from resetting. While he's doing all of this, I'm blasting everything up as Demo and we end up creating an opening to go for the case that my friend now has inched out into the open. The best offense has a good defense too.

KZbin took away community subtitles (which I think is a serious disappointment), so I’m unsure how I would get this done (email the uploader, probably), but I would like to enable the hearing-impaired to enjoy the videos I like too. These are probably the best captions I’ve personally seen on KZbin, so I would like to do something similar.

I can't describe my love for this video. The clips are very entertaining and make such good use of the engineers weapons and unlocks as Dane usually would, however the fast pace-ness of this video with the quick clips stacked on top of each other really makes it sparkle to me. Along side all of this the music selection is beautiful, I have never heard of any of these songs before hand so I have no bias but they go along with this video in such a perfect and refreshing way. Even more so the short breaks the viewers get from the music is also refreshing, at 3:18 the guy in voice chat provides quick comic relief at the end of that song, this is perfect as it keeps the viewer interested as the probably didn't expect it. Right after this it goes straight into the next song with the starting clip showing some possibly new players showing us perfectly how the engineer could be played (very standard engineering), this is sharply contrasted by uncle Danes chosen way of playing the class at that time as he immediately does a wrangled sentry rocket jump towards the enemy. I think this shows how special the class, and game is, as a class that could be played so simply has all these special ways of interacting with his tools, players and environment. There is not a single part in this video I lose interest at as it is so fast I will miss if I look away. Overall this is a perfect video and I can't think of anyway to improve it, amazing work!

The work that was put into this was worth it. There’s those seamless transitions, and the clips are organized into sort of categories really well. You have your ninjaneer, then some sentry jumps, with a comically large spoonful of revenge crits sprinkled throughout. Thanks!
