Beautiful job. There are people like me who can sew some garments here and there, and then there are people like you who make just the most lovely pieces of art. It looks angelic.

I am sitting here watching with my mouth open in awe at your incredible skills! I cannot believe you've only been sewing for five years, nor that you are only twenty. Your courage and willingness to just GO FOR IT are phenomenal. You definitely have a huge talent. I predict great things for you in the fashion world. A designer who actually sews has such an advantage over the rest. This, and the video on the overdress, are probably my two favourite videos on YT. I subscribed and can't wait to see more of your work. Best of luck with all your future plans.

I've been binging your channel to regain my inspiration and motivation to get back into sewing. I took 3 years of fashion design in high school because that was what I wanted to do as a career, and I haven't sewn in such a terribly long time. Getting back into the swing of things now.

I was watching this with my aunt who is a premiere for a big fashion house in Paris and she was amazed. And by amazed she means, that she was very impressed by how the gown turned out, in spite of the way you made it . You are like Mozart Angela, he never studied music and yet managed to create incredible pieces. You have absolutely no clue how to drape, tailor and sew, but you have a vision and you know how to take a two dimensional material and turn it into a three dimensional product. You should be a designer. I know, that sounds like a back handed compliment but it is not, it is a true objective and actually positive critique.

Hi! I'm headed to college as soon for fashion. I started sewing when I was 8, did basic sewing at 9, and reaaally pushed myself farther and farther with each project. I dress in vintage and am in a 17th c reenactment group. Basically what im saying is, start! You won't be able to make this dress on your first try. Try a pattern, a SIMPLE pattern, from Joann's and get some of their quilting cotton and a basic sewing machine and try it out! Buy your sewing machine from a dealer, not online. It makes a world of difference since machines are not built to last these days and it will save you hundreds. Good luck!! I wish the best for you!!
